Late at night.
Patricia quietly grabbed some bread and snacks and snuck them over to Byran.
Quinton, who was ordered by Balfour to have two bodyguards stationed outside Byran's door, saw that it was Ms. Howard who had come. After a moment of hesitation, they let her in without stopping her.
Balfour always listens to Ms. Howard, and even if Balfour himself was here, he would definitely be moved by Ms. Howard's coquetry and let her in.
If they stopped her, and Ms. Howard went to Balfour unhappy, he would definitely get angry with them. So, they figured they might pretend to not see it.
Patricia entered Byran's room and saw Byran lying face down on the bed, burying his face in the pillow and crying.
"Byran, get up! You'll suffocate like this!"
Hearing Patricia's voice, Byran was taken aback, then sat up, wiping his tears with a wronged and stubborn look.
"Why are you here? It's so late, haven't you gone to bed yet?"
"I couldn't sleep. I was worried about you, so I came to check."
Patricia took a tissue from the table and walked over to wipe his swollen eyes. "Look at you, such a big boy, why are you crying?"
