Theo waved his hand dismissively, "No need. From now on, as long as she has locked the door and there's no safety issue, absolutely nobody is allowed to unlock it with a key."
Devin was taken aback, "...yes."
This was a total departure from Mr. Blanchet's previous stance.
In the past, Ellinor would also lock her door, which always ticked Mr. Blanchet off. He would have someone unlock it.
His room was his territory. No one was allowed to lock it, let alone lock him out of it.
Yet now, he seemed to be totally fine with it. What a turn of events!
Instead of knocking again, Theo pulled out his phone and called the person inside.
It rang for a while before being answered by a groggy-sounding Ellinor, "What's up?"
"It's time to get up, let's have breakfast together."
Ellinor had stayed up late working on designs and only went to bed in the early hours. Right now, she just wanted to sleep.
"I'm not hungry. Enjoy yourself."
With that, she hung up.
Being hung up on, Theo's face darkened.
Usually, he was the one calling the shots, rejecting others. Now Ellinor was giving him a taste of his own medicine, and it was quite a bitter taste at that.
The man redialed, "Open the door. Let me see you."
Ellinor picked up again, sounding a bit irritated, "Didn't I send you a picture yesterday? You can look at it anytime, anywhere!"
