On the terrace, were two artificial cherry blossom trees and some plants. Beneath the cherry blossom trees, there was a small stage for customers to play and sing quietly.
The soundproofing downstairs was not up to snuff, and was pretty rowdy. Even with the music off, the commotion from the next room was still seeping in. So, the classmates suggested that the two beauties perform on the terrace upstairs.
Upstairs, Yvette first handed the sheet music to Ellinor, smiling as brightly as ever, "Ellinor, here! This is my original composition. I'm sure you can play it!"
Ellinor took it and looked at the music she had written. It looked good, but it wasn't something she could just play immediately. Without some basic skills, it would be hard to play smoothly.
Seeing Ellinor struggling with the sheet music, Yvette smirked triumphantly, then feigned concern: "Ellinor, what's up? Is there a problem? Is my composition a bit tricky for you?"
Ellinor glanced at her, then back at the sheet music, sighed, and said, "It's a bit tough, but I'll give it a shot. I'll try my best to play it for you."
Yvette smirked inwardly but kept a pleasant face.
With Ellinor's amateurish skills, she dared to say she would try her best to play it. What a joke!
She had poured her heart into the music for a year, incorporating all the skills she had learned over a lifetime. Even she could not play it perfectly, let alone an amateur like Ellinor!
But that was what she wanted, to see Ellinor make a fool of herself in public!
Ellinor had been overshadowing her for four years with her top-student status. On this last day of college, she was determined to put Ellinor in her place and take back the spotlight!
She wanted everyone to know that Ellinor's top-student title was just for show. When it came to talent and charisma, Ellinor was nowhere near her!
......
Ten minutes later, Yvette dragged Ellinor onto the small stage on the terrace, ready to start their performance.
Ellinor found a convenient spot to sit, clipped the sheet music, and prepared to accompany her.
However, when she opened the guitar case Yvette had given her, she looked startled, her eyebrows furrowing.
