? XAVIER POV ?

I walked around in my chambers trying to get over the fact that my mate killed my father, Emerald have never gave me a reason to doubt her.

"Maybe you should hear her own side of the story am not sure my mate can hurt anyone " Rolfe my wolf said and I banged the wall in anger.

"You are only saying that because she is our mate beside Lina saw her kill him Rolfe it is her words against ours Dad was covered in pool of blood, she was covered in his blood too and it is not like there was anyone else in the room " I said in frustration.

"You sent her to the out house without considering the fact that she was carrying our child" he said and I pinched the bridge of my nose I heard a knock on my door that had me turning back.

"Come in" I said and the person stepped into my chamber with his head bowed.

"Good morning Alpha, ma'am Emerald has given birth in the outhouse the pack doctor has asked for your presence" my beta Jayden said as he bowed in respect .

"She gave birth" I muttured under my breath as my mind went back to the fact that it rained heavily the previous night .

"How is the baby ?" I asked with concern laced in my voice.

Jayden walked with me as we took fast strides towards the out house when we got there, I noticed the pack doctor had a worried expression on her face.

"Good morning Alpha Xavier" she said bowing in respect.

"How is the baby ?" I asked as my eyes moved around the room to see what was happening inside the house.

"She gave birth to twins but I am afraid we have a sick one among the both of them. The baby is so weak I don't understand what exactly is wrong with the baby" she said and I raised my eyebrows in question.

"I think it is a rare disease Alpha at it need serious care and attention" she said and I took heavy strides into the house.

There she was on the locally made Mat she looked weak and tired for a moment I felt pity for her but reminding myself of what she did to me I looked away and signaled the pack doctor to get the baby Immediately she carried the sick child, Emerald woke up from her sleep.

"Xav ...." she trailed off In suprise .

"What are you doing ? Why do you have our baby with you? " she asked looking so scared.

"Take the child away" I said and she got down from the mat in pains.

"Xav don't do this to me please ...My love " she trailed as tears rolled out of her eyes .

"Our babies needs their mother you can't separate a child from their mother" she said as she held unto my hand.

"Let go of me Emerald" I spat in anger.

I walked out of the outhouse with the pack doctor I could hear her screams and cries from a distance but I did not give a damn.

"Alpha" Lina said as she walked over to me with a soft smile on her lips.

"I need to be alone" I said and made my way into my chamber.

?EMERALD POV ?

It is been two days, two days since he took my child away from me, two days since my cries and plea fell on deaf ears No one was ready to hear my side of the story my son and I have been left to rot in the outhouse like a slave with no rights or privilege to live.

"I am sorry ...I am so sorry baby " I said over and over again as I rocked my crying baby in my arms he has been crying ever since they took his twin away.

Xavier has not stepped his foot on the outhouse ever since he left and I am not allowed to go out and I have no one to help me.

"Stop crying baby I promise to always be here for you ...I will never let anyone hurt you ..." I said as my voice broke at the edge .

"Awwwwwwwwn what a lovely scene" I heard the voice of the person that ruined my life.

"Where is my child ?" I asked before I could stop myself Lina stared at me with eyebrows raised.

"Your child is the last thing I espect you to ask of considering the fact that you have a lot of things going on in your life" she said smirking.

"Just take a look at yourself Emerald I warned you, I told you Xavier has no future with you, you are just an ordinary maid" she said throwing a look of disgust in my direction.

"What did you think ? that after everything Xavier and I have been through together you think you can just walk into his life with the stupid excuse of been his mate!" she spat angrily.

"For months I have watched him cherish you like a queen but then, the crown of Luna belongs to only one person and that is me" she said and I bit my lower lip to stop the tears that threatened to leave my eyes.
