The Rejected Luna's Revenge (Emerald and Xavier) novel Chapter 4

Pain, Anger and disgust was all I felt as we made our way back to the pack house Emerald rejected me, she chose to leave the pack forever I took long srides towards my room in anger.

"Xav...." I heard Lina's voice I ignored her and went into my room.

"Is everything okay? I heard everything that happened I can't believe Emerald could do something like that she looks so Innocent no one wouldn't imagine she was as despicable as that" she said rubbing her hands on my shoulders immediately I sat on the chair.

"Stop talking about her! " I bursted angrily and she flinched in shock.

"I'm sorry Alpha Xav..... " she trailed softly and an uncomfortable silence engulfed the room .

"I just can't help but wonder who that man was to her Emerald has no one from the pack when we discovered we were mates she used to live with an old lady " I said furiously.

"She left with a man ? what if that was her lovers !" Lina said and I held the glass infront of me in anger until it broke to picece, the pieces of the glass pierced into my hands injuring me in the process.

"Jeez, Xavier !" Lina raised her voice in shock.

"You are bleeding Xavier" she said holding my hand worriedly as we stared at the wound as it healed up immediately.

Werewolves had the tendency to heal immediately unlike humans, beeen an Alpha I healed even faster than normal werewolves.

"Stop hurting yourself Xavier, I can't bare to watch you break down like this it is eating me up" she said and I stared at her without a word.

"She rejected me Lina and I accepted her rejection, I thought it would hurt her, break her or at least make her regret what she did to me and my pack but it didn't make a difference to that ungrateful woman, that killer she fuckin rejected me and left my pack " I said and at that point even the words felt bitter in my mouth.

"She never loved you Xav, I think she was with you only because of what you had to offer don't let any of that hurt or bother you I am here for you forever and always" she said and I stared at her.

"I'm sorry for the times I didn't listen to you" I said in hurt .

"I am here to make everything right now Xavier" she said and I gave a nod.

"When will you make me the Luna of the pack ?" She asked and I stared at her calmly .

"Soon, very soon" I said and she smiled happily.

"I will never forgive Emerald for this pain she brought to me I will make sure she lives to regret this if our parts ever cross" I said and stood up from my chair angrily.

I will be fine, I will pick up the broken pieces of my life and do something lucrative with my life and pack Lina has been nothing but supportive to me, Who else would fit into the position of the Luna other than her?? I thought with determination.

"Have you thought for a second if the children are yours? Because she left the pack comfortably in the arms of another man, What if the children belong to that man? " Lina asked and I lost it .

"Shut up !" I banged the table infront of me in anger.

"Get out before I rip your heart out !" I yelled furiously and she ran out of the room in pannick.

I couldn't have any sleep throughout the night memories of the time spent with her hunted me into the wee hours of the night. Getting up from my bed, I wore my room slippers and made my way out of the room I had a lot of thoughts running through my mind especially the identity of the unknown man that took her away from my pack .

Feeling to take a run in the fields I walked out of the pack house and shifted in the woods I could feel my bones breaking as I changed into my wolf form.

It was still pretty dark as I let Rolfe take full control I could feel the hurt he felt for being separated from his mate, he ran in the fields for a long time before he cried out into the night in hurt, anger, whimpering and groaning we stayed outside until it became bright.

My mind linked with my Beta, Jayden to come over to where I was with some neat clothes I had ruined the other ones from shifting unexpectedly without taking them off.

"Good morning Alpha Xavier" he said immediately he got to me with the clothes I walked behind a tree and changed into them .

"How are things at the pack ?" I asked as I walked in front.

"The rumours about Emerald leaving the pack is everywhere" he said calmly.

"why do you call them rumours when it is obvious she left the pack? " I asked in annoyance.

"They are rumours until you give an official word to the pack everyone knew she was your mate before the whole rejection happened" he said and I looked away. Jayden used to be so fond of her if only he knew she was nothing but a ruthless woman.

"Do you have any idea who that man was ?" I asked and he stopped walking.

"Which man ?" he asked curiously.

"The man in the boat from last night, the one that took Emerald and the baby away " I said and he gave me a thoughtful look .

"I have no idea who that man is" he muttered under his breath suddenly thinking about the man.

"I want you to gather as much information as you can about who he is and how he got into my pack, most importantly his relationship with my Ex" I said walking in front.

I got busy with pack duties and I could feel the emptiness in my chest Rolfe was mourning his mate quiet badly and I wonder why he thinks Emerald and Nala are same persons, Emerald is heartless .
