The Soldier's Unsurpassable Honor novel Chapter 1466

"Well, when you put it that way, it might just work!" Trenton's worries were eventually lifted as he nodded in satisfaction.

He then took two steps forward and caressed Lily's hair as he lamented, "You've grown, my daughter. You know how to think and make plans now, but you’ve sacrificed too much for the Lagorio family.'

"Father, what are you talking about? I feel that Joel Collins is a kind man. Though there are rumors of how he loves to toy with women, he's quite a nice person in other aspects. Our family wouldn’t need to be afraid of anything else after I marry him." Lily steeled herself and wore a brave facade.

Eventually, Trenton nodded and spoke," Alright. You must be tired, so you should go take a rest now. I'll ask the elders for a meeting about these martial enhancement materials and let everybody share some so that everybody can use the materials for training."

Sure enough, the pavilion master of the Skies Pavilion led several elders and came at noon the next day. They sent a large amount of martial enhancement materials as betrothal gifts once they arrived and decided on the engagement instantly. The wedding was then decided to be seven days later.

Another two days passed and there were about 12 days left before the Woods family had to go to the Cabello family when they received an invitation.

The elders, Fane, housekeeper Titus, and the others were summoned to the discussion hall. First elder Kenneth Woods curiously asked upon seeing Nash’s hardened expression, "What is it, Master?"

Everybody could see that something serious must have happened when they saw Nash’s solemn expression. Otherwise, he would not have summoned them— important members of the family—when everybody was busy training.

"Father, did something happen? Did members of the Hunt family make a move to enter the seven dangerous areas first and find ways to break through to the ultimate god level?" guessed Fane all while he wore a frown, expression shifted into a solemn expression.

It would be troublesome if that truly was the case. After all, he was the one who killed both young masters of the Hunt family, and only a few others could raise the other party's suspicion. Both him and Helena were the highest in the suspicion list.

The Hunts would seek him and the others out sooner or later for it, and it was because of that that Fane hoped someone from the Woods family could break-through to the ultimate god level, or they would be in trouble if the other party broke through first.

"No, that's not it. The seven dangerous areas cover a huge area and nobody knows how deep it actually is, so the Hunts won't dare to act rashly.” Nash smiled bitterly. He took the invitation and passed it to Fane." Take a look. The pavilion master of the Skies Pavilion from the Four Ancients Clans is marrying his ninth wife. He's inviting us to his wedding." "How's that possible? This...this old man is marrying another wife when he has eight wives?” The First elder was shocked when he heard this, though a chuckle followed soon after. "Master, this shouldn’t be a big issue, right? Him marrying again isn’t a big deal. Although we'll need to spare some time to go there for a meal, it’s nothing much. After all, it’s just a meal! Members of the other families will surely attend the wedding. Apart from that, members from the other clans might show up too, right? They definitely have to honor the pavilion master of the Skies Pavilion!"

"That’s right. Master, this is nothing, right? It’s just him getting married. It's mind-boggling how this old pervert is marrying his ninth wife when he’s so old!" Another elder also started laughing.
