"I did once!" cried the bodyguard closest to Kingsley. "It was only one time, though!"
The people next to him hurriedly and added with a wail, "It has only been less than two months since the Spearhead Group dabbled in the arms business! This is the second time! We have only had one successful transaction! Please let us go!"
The corners of Kingsley's mouth curled up coldly. "Just once is enough!" he fumed.
If all things had gone as expected, he knew that the explosives used to destroy the cemetery were from them!
Hence, the hands of these bodyguards were also stained with the blood of those workers who lost their lives.
"There are times when there is no going back for you once you have committed an unforgivable sin." Kingsley's piercing cold tone made everyone shudder involuntarily.
"We know what we did wrong. Please, let us go! We only did it for our keep!"
The bodyguards fell into despair as soon as they heard Kingsley's emotionless words, and they kept kowtowing to Kingsley while they pleaded.
"We beg of you, please spare us just this one time! We will do anything as long as you let us go..."
"You will do anything, huh?" Kingsley sneered. "Alright then, I will give you one last chance."
Hearing this, everyone kowtowed frantically to him while giving their thanks, as if their lives had already been spared.
"You don't have to thank me for now." Kingsley then continued casually, "You may be exempted from death, but not from punishment. Whether you survive or not depends entirely on yourselves."
After throwing that out, he looked at Hades, who led the troops, and ordered, "Come. Have them tied up and throw
them into the bed of the truck!"
"Yes, sir!"
After Hades gave that brief response, he immediately turned around to face the fully-armed squadron and commanded, "Step forward, Team Alpha and Team Beta!"
The moment he barked that command, two teams from the special forces, who were armed with assault rifles, marched out of the formation with a stern and determined look on their faces!
Seeing the soldiers stalking toward them like predators, the bodyguards huddled in fright, their faces drained of blood.
"Don't come closer... What are you trying to do to us..."
All the bodyguards were letting out gut-wrenching screams, but the soldiers were unperturbed.
They only gumly approached the wailing bunch on the ground.
They first subdued the bodyguards by pressing them on the ground with their knees, and taking out the rope they always had on them to tightly tie around the bodyguards' waists.
They then used the ends of the rope to tie both hands, positioned naturally on the sides of the body, and finally fastened the rope around the waist to secure the knot.
The soldiers' movement was so swift and smooth it was done in the blink of an eye.
In just a few seconds, more than 30 burly bodyguards were already tied up like salami!
