Although I'm not a warmonger, I fear my combat skills will become rusty if I continue training like this. Kingsley's heart abruptly skipped a beat as he thought of that. Say—isn't Baron operating an illegal fighting ring? As far as I know, those illegal boxers fight like their lives are on the line. Sure enough, fighting against them will be far better than shadowboxing alone in this yard!
After he made up his mind, he decided to take a look at Baron's illegal boxing arena once he was done dealing with his affairs.
Kingsley was in a good mood now that he had found the solution to his deteriorating combat skills. After he took a brief, cold shower and had a quick lunch, he contacted Kenny, telling him to get ready to head over to Atlaren. However, what Kingsley didn't expect was that Kenny would bring hundreds of his men—all of whom were elite fighters under his command.
When Kingsley was faced with dozens of vans parked by the roadside, he murmured absentmindedly, "Advisor Shane, didn't I say that 30 men will do?"
"Yes, you did! So, of course, the more, the better!" Kenny replied with a smile. "Rest assured, Boss Nicholson. These are my best fighters! Although they aren't as skilled as Baron's men, they are still absolutely capable of dealing with ordinary folk!"
With that said, Kenny probed with a whisper, "Boss Nicholson, what sort of goods are we going to pick up? Is this a heist?"
Kingsley became even more speechless after he heard Kenny's remarks. "No, that's not it. We are purely going there to pick up some goods, but it's just that… the goods are a little unique."
"Unique?" Kenny was anxious and doubtful. "What goods could that be? Could it be… drugs?"
"What the hell?!" Kingsley's facial expression instantly darkened at Kenny's guess, and he reprimanded icily, "We never deal with drugs! You'd better not get yourself involved in that sort of business! If I ever find out that you've decided to dip your fingers into that pie… Don't you dare blame me for turning against you!"
Kenny frantically waved his hands as he clarified, "Whoa there, Boss Nicholson. I know what are the things that I can get involved with and what are the things I should stay the hell away from. I was just curious about what kind of goods that would require you to pick them up in person…"
