"What's there to be worried about?" Cedric added with narrowed eyes, "Those are dozens of boxes of explosives. It would be suspicious if he showed up with only a few men! Moreover, all these men practically scream underworld. So, they have absolutely no connection with Qustia Military!"
Emmett felt his heart ease at Cedric's analysis and muttered impatiently, "I can't help it. The Qustians are simply too cunning that they have traumatized me!"
"Now, now. Stop grumbling!" Cedric said, "We can rest easy as long as the two of us seize this opportunity and cling to Mr. Nicholson after this deal!"
Emmett nodded, agreeing with Cedric's words. "Indeed. Even the military will have a hard time locating us if we can hide among Qustians' own underworld forces!"
While they were talking to each other, Kingsley and Kenny were fast approaching their location.
Cedric immediately rubbed his face before he put on a flattering smile. "Mr. Nicholson!" he shouted as he made his way outside.
"Mr. Field." Kingsley curled his lips into a mirthless smile as he said, "You did a splendid job in choosing this location."
"Hahaha…" Cedric laughed triumphantly. "The construction team only agreed to suspend their construction period and allowed me to use this building as a warehouse after I bribed them handsomely!"
Kingsley's facial expression remained unchanged. "Mr. Field, I suppose the money I gave you should be enough to fund this share of expenses. Am I right?"
"Of course!" Cedric beamed with joy. "You are a generous person, Mr. Nicholson. And to be honest, it's my first time to have encountered someone as bold and generous as you!" As he spoke, Cedric glanced at Kenny, who stood behind Kingsley. "Hey, bro, you look familiar to me… Oh, that's right! We met once at the Golden Bar!"
Kenny simply nodded without speaking a word upon hearing his words.
