True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 1449

Maria looked into his eyes and mumbled, "I'm too embarrassed."

"Look as much as you want," Liam said solemnly while caressing her face, "I want you to."

"I took a few glances," she said hurriedly. She felt uneasy at his touch. "You look good."

She was afraid she couldn't control her feelings if she looked at him too long.

Liam lowered his head and kissed her. Her mouth tasted of toothpaste, minty, along with her sweetness.

After a deep kiss, Liam said, "Look as much as you like, hmm?"

How long could she do so?

Would it be a lifetime?

Maria really wanted to ask him, but she dared not. She was afraid she might accidentally shatter the marvelous dream herself.

She liked how things were between them currently.

Unconsciously, her gaze became much gentler.

She had no idea how adorable she looked, looking at him with her mouth slightly agape.

"If you keep looking at me like this, I won't be able to hold back," Liam said, cupping her cheeks, staring at her with a blazing gaze.

Frightened, she quickly shut her eyes. Then, she heard his laughter.

"You silly child."

"I am not a child," she argued as she opened her eyes.

Liam held her hand, brought her to the dining table, and sat her down. He then served the dishes and filled up her plate for her.

He made stuffed chicken breast and salad.

"You made all this?" Maria asked.

"Yes, I did."

"They look delicious."

"I hope so," he was still quite humble, "I do hope you'll like it."

"I will. I'll get stuck in."

Maria had half a plate of salad and two portions of chicken.

Liam didn't eat much.

"Is that all you're eating?" She asked when she realized he only had a bit of salad and half of his chicken.

"I'm done," he shook his head. Looking at what was left on his plate, his eyes were full of reluctance.

"I'm certain you still want more." She said.

"Indeed, but I have to stay in shape." He said with a smile, "You, on the other hand, should eat more. You're too thin."

Seeing how thin she was, he grabbed another piece of chicken breast for her.

"I'm good," Maria shook her head. "You celebrities sure are disciplined. You're all so strict on your diet."

Liam smiled but didn't say anything.

"You're really awesome," Maria praised him from the bottom of her heart. "Liam, you're so disciplined. How amazing."

Liam ruffled her hair again, a doting look in his eyes.

He had changed.

She truly felt that he had changed.

Looking at each other, Maria saw that his eyes were filled with tenderness. She couldn't believe it was actually directed at her.

She was flattered.

"Switch your phone on," Liam said. "Your parents will get upset if they can't reach you."

"Oh, yeah," Maria nodded and went to get her phone. A thought came to her mind, and she said, "I'll do the dishes. It's not fair to have you cook and do the cleaning too. I have to at least do something."

Stunned, Liam smiled and thought this girl sure was benevolent.

Regardless, he cleared the table. Washing a few plates and cutleries wouldn't take up much time.

By the time she came back, he was nearly done.

"Hey, didn't I say I'd do it?" she ran to him, trying to take over.

"Don't, I'm almost done," Liam said.

"Okay then," Maria looked at him and smiled shyly.

"I feel like I just got a free meal."

He smiled and said, "You didn't."

"Thank you, Liam," she said.

He frowned a little. Did she have to be so polite to him?

Suddenly, Maria's phone beeped continuously. A series of messages flooded into her phone.

Maria glanced at it and her face turned pale.

There was even a phone call from England.

Then there was one from her father at ten in the morning.

Maria looked at the number from England and knew it was from one of her classmates. They were from the same country. He was an interesting guy, and Maria saw him as a buddy.

"Adrian Scott, why did you call me?"
