True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 1450

"You don't want me to leave?" Maria blinked, feeling even more confused. "But it doesn't look like you want me to stay either."

Liam pulled her in, wrapped his arms around her waist, then leaned in to bite her lip.

"Ouch!" she gasped in pain, "What are you doing? My parents will find out if you leave a bite wound on me."

"You're afraid of being discovered," he said, obviously upset.

"I'm afraid you'll be discovered," she covered her mouth in pain, "I have nothing to lose, but it's not the same for you."

Liam's eyebrows furrowed together.

"You don't like me anyway," she smiled carelessly, "So you don't have to force yourself."

Unexpectedly, Liam felt a little depressed.

She was right, but he felt upset for no reason.

He could only wrap his arms around her waist tightly and not let go.

"It hurts," Maria found it hard to breathe being shackled in his embrace. "I really have to go back." "You said you'd only go back at night when you called your mom earlier." He used her words against her.

Stumped, it was only then Maria understood his intention. "You don't want me to leave, do you?"

Liam didn't say anything.

Seeing how upset he was, the corner of her lips curved into a light smile. "Okay then, I'll go back at night."

"Mm," Liam's mood improved instantly. After that, he asked, "Will you come again tomorrow?"

Stunned once more, Maria asked in turn, "Do you want me to?"

"Yes," He nodded.

She had a strange feeling in her heart. What for? Just roll around in bed?

"I should be able to come tomorrow. My friend will be returning to the country tomorrow. He'd probably rest for a bit at home before coming to Northern City the day after, and I'd have to be his tour guide then," she planned the schedule, "Adrian would probably want to stay for a few days, and I might have to keep him company, and then I'll have to fly to England not long after."

Hearing that, a corner of his heart suddenly felt empty, somewhat lost.

It was a terrible feeling.

Gently, Liam let go of her, walked to the couch, and sat down. He became much gloomier then.

Maria walked over and sat down beside him. She took off her slippers and sat cross-legged on the couch.

The atmosphere was a little silent.

After thinking for a long time, she turned her head to look at him, and he happened to be doing the same.

Then their eyes met.

"Why not... you join us the day after?" she asked.

Surprised, an indescribable emotion flashed across his eyes, and he was in a daze for a moment.

Right then, Maria seemed to have realized something and said, "Oh, I forgot. It's not convenient for you to go out. Forget it. You should just stay at home."

There was a trace of anger in his eyes, "I should thank you for thinking of me, shouldn't I?"

"You're welcome," she waved her hand without care, "I like you anyway."

Stunned, Liam suddenly jumped on her.

"Ah!" Maria was shocked. He pressed her down on the couch and kissed her passionately.

Maria was stupefied.

"He doesn't want more, does he?" She thought.

There was a trace of doubt in her eyes. However, he only kissed her deeply, then pressed himself on her and whispered in her ear, "Maria."

"Hmm?" Her voice was shaky.

Liam didn't say anything. She could hear his heaving breathing by her ear, teasing, and it made her a little uneasy.

"I want you to spend all your time with me before you go back to England. Don't spend it with anyone else, okay?" He finally said after a few moments of hesitation.

Maria was stunned upon hearing his words, "But I've already promised Adrian."

Liam's eyes were dark. He lowered his head and kissed her, then mumbled, "I thought you like me."

She was once again stunned.

The man looked at her with puppy dog eyes, and Maria couldn't help but gasped.

The face before herself was too handsome.

Was he trying to seduce her?

Her heart wavered.

But then she said seriously, "I'm elated to hear you say so, but Adrian came back from England, and I happened to have something to talk to him about." She might further her postgraduate studies with Adrian.

"Do you not want to?" he sounded a little disappointed.

"Of course I do, but we can't always be like this."

As soon as she finished speaking, Liam started to touch her all over again.

In an instant, she could tell he was turned on again.

She gasped in shock and felt her blood rushing throughout her body because of him.
