True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 2012

Celeste refused to be threatened by Janice, nor was she willing to let Janice affect her relationship with Gary.

Even if she was to break up with Gary, Celeste wanted it to be her sole decision.

She didn't want to feel threatened into breaking up.

This was Celeste. There might be tear stains lingering on her face, but she was still stubbornly beautiful.

It was a different kind of beauty. Her calm and indifferent gaze made her look even more dazzling.

Gary took a deep breath. He was slowly overwhelmed by his emotions by just staring at Celeste.

Upon hearing what Celeste said, Janice gasped. She sounded frustrated.

"Celeste, I thought you were better than this, but it seems like I was wrong about you. Gary had already betrayed your trust when he slept with me. Furthermore, I'm already carrying his child."

"He doesn't love you as much as you think. I still believe that he fell for me first, but somehow your actions just confused him."

"If it wasn't for you and your tantrums while threatening to break up with him, I'm sure he would have gotten with me way earlier."

Gary clenched his fists tightly upon hearing that.

He noticed Celeste was trembling in anger when listening to Janice. He could only imagine just how much Janice had annoyed Celeste in the past judging by the way Janice was speaking.

The words Janice told Celeste in the past must've been way worse than this.

Now that he thought back, Janice must have said something unpleasant to Celeste too when they were still in Scotland. That was why Celeste got so mad.

Back then, he was too blinded to notice this. Gary regretted it immensely now.

"I don't think he will ever choose to be with you even if I was never involved," Celeste remained composed, seemingly unprovoked by the insults being thrown at her.

She looked calm and she sounded calm. Her gaze looked even more determined.

Gary felt sorry to see her like this.

"Nonsense," Janice grew agitated.

"You know that I'm only telling the truth," Celeste replied.

"Celeste White, I'm sure your heart is bleeding now. You must be in an unstable condition for you to make this call," Janice chuckled and said sarcastically, "You can't convince yourself to stay calm, neither can you convince yourself to stay with Gary. You only called because you're unsure of this."

"You're right," Celeste admitted coolly, "I won't deny that my heart is indeed bleeding, but then, what difference would that make? He will still be my boyfriend as long as I refuse to end things with him."

"You are really stubborn," Janice snickered, "I knew you were always stubborn, but now I can see it for sure."

"Indeed, I admit that I'm pretty stubborn. Thank you for the compliment," Celeste replied.

Janice snorted, "Then why did you make this call? Did you want to start a fight with me?"

"I just want to let you know that Gary will never be your boyfriend. You can stop daydreaming already," Celeste's tone was cold and indifferent.

The longer their conversation went on, the calmer Celeste felt about this. Her thoughts and doubts were also clearing up, making her grow more determined on what course of action she would take next.

No matter how things turned out between her and Gary, one thing was for sure: Janice would never be able to interfere in their relationship.

Janice could just dream on.
