True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 2213

Sylvia could feel her heart beating wildly after Kendrix kept staring at her. She felt her heart about to jump out of her throat.

However, apart from the surging look in his eyes, he still seemed calm.

Sylvia knew from the bottom of her heart that she was no match for Kendrix.

"I am not afraid that you will hurt me. I know that you won't," Sylvia said in a confident tone.

However, Kendrix was still suspicious of his own character.

To be honest, he did have the urge to commit a crime to an underaged girl, and that urge was causing his rationale to go out of control. He was afraid that he would not be able to control his own actions.

However, Kendrix knew he couldn't do it.

He pursed his lips, and the surging light in his eyes finally dimmed after a while. Soon, he finally calmed down.

He could not let a girl who trusted him so much suffer any harm. Otherwise, he would really not be worthy of her love.

Kendrix stroked Sylvia's hair and muttered softly, "Close your eyes and don't talk."

"Oh okay," Sylvia still wanted to say something, but when she saw how tired he looked, she could only nod. She did not dare to say anything else.

Kendrix looked very tired. If she insisted on talking, it would probably make him feel even more tired.

She closed her eyes obediently and snuggled in his arms. She was so excited that she could not sleep at all.

However, she still did not open her eyes for she was worried that he would not be able to sleep well.

Sylvia kept her eyes closed the entire time. She did not know that Kendrix had opened his eyes silently and was staring at her with a gentle smile on his face.

Sylvia was tightly tucked away in his arms as though she was a cute little kitten. His heart skipped a beat upon gazing at her delicate yet gorgeous features.

Kendrix felt extremely happy and satisfied to be with her. Perhaps it was because he had been too lonely. Now that he had met a girl who was willing to accompany him, he was immediately filled with joy.

Sylvia was really too nice to him.

Kendrix was greatly touched.

He stared at the girl in front of him. Even though her eyes were closed, her eyelids were still fluttering. It was obvious that she did not have any intentions to sleep because she was too nervous.

Kendrix also felt a little bit amused. He sighed silently.

Perhaps he was the one who had not thought it through.

Kendrix had only wanted Sylvia to stay with him for a while. However, he did not expect that it'd be so stimulating for the two of them to lay on the same bed. It was natural for a young girl like her to be nervous and on edge.

Meanwhile, Sylvia could hear his sigh.

She immediately opened her eyes subconsciously, her bright and clear gaze making contact with Kendrix's deep gaze.

For a brief moment, Kendrix could feel his emotions on the verge of breaking out.

Sylvia could not help but purse her lips. Her anxiety made her lick her lips as well.

Kendrix looked at her pink lips and raised his eyebrows. His gaze sank.

Sylvia noticed that there was something wrong with Kendrix's gaze. Not only was he staring hard at her, he was even looking at her covetously.

She immediately realized that there was a change in the atmosphere and her whole body tensed up. She could only stammer, "Kendrix... You-!"

Before she could finish her words, Kendrix had sealed her lips with his.

The sweet and delicious taste of her lips made it impossible for him to control himself.

This was indeed the true testament of a man's willpower.

Sylvia wanted to push him away. She was worried that they wouldn't be able to stop what was about to happen since the two of them were laying on the same bed.

However, when she thought of how tired he was as well as his bloodshot eyes, Sylvia couldn't find the heart in her to reject his advances.

Meanwhile, Kendrix wasn't hesitating at all.

Sylvia's lips tasted like morning dew. It was fresh and crisp, and just one bite made him lose all rationale. He wanted to continue.

Under such a situation, Sylvia found it hard to restrain him. She could even feel a sense of danger coming from Kendrix.

Despite all that, Sylvia still thought that Kendrix would not hurt her for she still believed that he was a reasonable man.

Besides, she trusted her own intuition and taste in men.

Sure enough, the most Kendrix did to her was kiss her. He did not go any further.

He placed some distance between them with his forehead still pressing against hers. His breathing was unstable as he whispered, "Sorry. I could not control myself."

"Haha!" Sylvia couldn't help but chuckle softly.

"What are you laughing at?" Kendrix's voice was hoarse. It seemed like he was in a good mood.

"I just feel a little proud that I'm charismatic enough to attract you," Sylvia giggled. Her eyes were red as she said these.
