Her hand gripped the truck steering wheel as she drove through the woods. Her hazel eyes fixed on the lonely road, filled with pot holes. She has been driving on this bumpy road for the past one hour without resting.

" Where are we going Eliz? " Eli asked again after asking the same question for the past 1hr.

" Keep quiet Eli! Just let me think straight" Eliz mumbled under her breath.

" I'm not going to keep quiet Eliz, being angry will not solve the problem. You know it's not safe to drive in the woods alone. What if something happens to us? Besides it's past noon already" Eli said and Eliz stepped on the brakes.

" I'm a warrior, don't forget that" Eliz said and placed her head on the steering wheel.

" A warrior that was beaten up by pups" Eli sneered.

" Just keep quiet and stop bringing up my embarrassing past. You're so annoying" Eliz scold and got down from the truck.

She placed one of her hand on her waist and the other on her head, pacing around the truck.

Her brown hair was falling loosely on her shoulders. Her face red from crying and yelling.

She opened the car door, took her water bottle and went in search of water. She walked down into the woods, searching for water. Her throat was dried and she felt dehydrated. She swallowed hard saliva and kept sighing.

" Do you plan to go into the woods forever?" Eli asked and Eliz shook her head, finding it difficult to speak because her throat was dry.

" I don't know Eli, I feel lost and I really don't know what to do. Do you think running away was a good thing? Does that make me an idiot or a genius?" Eliz asked, she kicked a trunk of decaying wood with her boots from her way and continued walking.

" you had always been an idiot. Your stupidity didn't start today Eliz. You were stupid right from the day you became obsessed about him. Don't you ever think that he might find his mate someday and it could not be you? " Eli asked

" You've got nerves Eli. Can't you see that the moon goddess is just being partial? She was aware of my feelings towards him. What did she do? She mated him to my best friend! " Eliz fumed but her eyes sparked when she saw a lake few metres away from her.

She jogged down to the lake and squatted next to it. She opened her water bottle and dipped it inside the lake, filled it to the brim and drank from it.

" I don't know if she's being partial" Eli replied while Eliz kept gulping the water down her throat.

" Eliz, what have you done?" Eli asked with her voice getting faint.

" What did I do? What's wrong with you?" Eliz asked and stood up with the bottle still in her hand.

" I'm feeling dizzy Eliz" Eli drawled and Eliz panicked.

" How could you forget the announcement he made earlier? You bitch! " Eli cursed and went quiet.

" Eli! Eli!! " Eliz called and hits her head with her palm.

" How come you are pregnant?" Sandra asked.

" Don't know" Eliz replied, holding the result and ultrasound in her hand.

" You're even 16 weeks gone and you're carrying three babies" Sandra said with a sigh.

" It's okay Sandra! Thanks for accommodating me for the past four months. Thank you for also helping me get admission into uni. " Eliz said with her eyes burning with tears.
