She didn't see the need to hide it from Xenia.

Xenia had seen Skylar before, but their relationship then was not as good as it was now.

"I knew that there was something going on between you two when I saw him the last time," Xenia Lowell looked at the brand, and then at the package inside. "He's important enough for you to spend so much money on him."

Coralie Chariott had always been a thrifty person. She was not willing to spend money on material things at all.
