I've been such a latecomer in your lives... How can I possibly let you face danger now?
Without a second thought, Yvan charged forward, relying solely on his gut feeling and sixth sense. "Logan, buddy, tell dad where you are... please, just give me a sign..."
Yvan felt like a headless chicken, for the first time experiencing a sense of helplessness in the face of a massive disaster. His team paved the way, collectively they busted into the kitchen. Declan kicked down what remained of the charred metal shelving, the ingredients long turned to ash. They searched high and low to no avail.
Standing in the middle of the kitchen, Yvan's hands felt limp.
Not far off, someone gestured — indicating the area was clear, suggesting they move on to avoid wasting precious time.
Yvan's heart was racing. He had this overwhelming intuition, a sense that Logan was right there.
"Yvan, my team reported back, no one's found in your area," Cyprian relayed from outside. "Move on to the next location. Why are you still there?"
But... why is this feeling so intense... this overwhelming sense that Logan is nearby? Why?
Yvan's mind was a battleground of frantic thoughts. Should he trust his gut? Should he take this gamble? If he's wrong, he could be missing out on crucial time to save Logan. But what if Logan really is here?
His every decision now was tied to Logan's fate!
Declan nudged him, signaling it was time to catch up with the main group. It seemed everyone was ready to move on to the next search area.
But Yvan stood rooted to the spot.
Declan grabbed him, desperately gesturing - "Come on, man, we've looked everywhere, Logan's not here!"
As Declan dragged Yvan out, a metal shelving unit crashed down where Yvan had just been standing. A close call that could have cost them both their lives.
Declan was about ready to slap some sense into Yvan. What was he thinking, zoning out at a time like this!
