What the Alphas did with the red stone was what made werewolves find their mates. So as soon as the red light hit the moon, every werewolf there started feeling a pull towards their mates. The need to find her mate increased inside Fay as her eyes turned red like the stone and every werewolf's eyes there.
She didn't know where Amy had gone because she was too busy trying to find her mate as the red moon guided her. She heard other werewolves murmur 'mate' to each other as they found their mates.
As her eyes moved through the crowd, she felt them suddenly snap to Alpha Clause on the stage like someone had turned her head to look at him. He was already looking at her and their gaze locked. She couldn't pull away from his gaze as she felt so drawn to him, she wanted to run to him and mark him then and there. From the look in his eyes, he felt the same way.
Alpha Clause walked down the steps of the stage, still holding her gaze and made his way to her as the crowd parted for him. The other four Lycans watched in wonder and hope as he made his way to Fay. She felt her heart beat faster as he stopped in front of her. His dark eyes staring into her currently red ones as he murmured one word that would bind them together for eternity.
"Mate." Alpha Clause husky, deep, sensual voice said.
"Mate." She said too in a breathless voice as the red moon made them say it to each other when they found the other.
They kept staring into each other's eyes until everyone in the crowd started clapping. She looked around to see that the moon was back to normal so was the sky and the red stone had stopped shining. Everyone including the other four Lycan had their eyes on Alpha Clause and her.
"What is your name?" His deep, enticing voice drew her attention back to him.
"Fay." She breathed out as she stared at his gorgeous face. She couldn't believe anyone could be that good looking.
"I am Clause." He replied, making her look at him in surprise with both of her eyebrows raised.
"I know, you are one of The Five."
He smiled at her, looking more gorgeous and she felt her breath hitch as she stared at him. She had never seen him smile, many people there probably never have because he has always been known to be so fierce and serious.
"Come with me, Fay." He said, holding his hand out to her.
She glanced at his outstretched arm in front of her then glanced back at him. She placed her hand in his large, warm hand and he intertwined it with hers as she felt how rough, yet smooth it was. He led her to the stage as they walked down the path the people there have made for them.
The crowd continued clapping as they climbed the steps up to the stage where the other four stood, watching them. Everyone was happy that Alpha Clause found his mate because he has existed for many years, but he had never met his other half.
"Congratulations, Alpha Clause." Alpha Mason said as the two of them stopped in front of them and the applause died down as the werewolves talked amongst themselves.
"Thank you, Alpha Mason." Alpha replied with a nod as Fay studied the other four Alphas closely.
"We are glad and happy that you finally found your mate." Alpha Nathan said with a large smile.
