As they walked along the path, they could still hear the sound of the trumpet from the training ground in the distance.
Mount Manos and Mount Gazette were two large mountains. There was a massive natural lake on the top of Mount Gazette.
The prey for this hunt often appeared near the natural lake of Mount Gazette.
In other words, they first had to cross Mount Manos and then climb to the summit of Mount Gazette.
Veronica glanced at the time, noting that it was already 3:30 p.m.
Even though she was walking side by side with four men, the only person she could trust was Xavier.
It would be a lie to say that she wasn't afraid.
The sky suddenly thundered when night fell four hours later. After flashes of lightning exploded in the sky, a torrential rain followed.
"It seems that we can't continue forward today. Let's set up camp here."
Liam beckoned to Xavier and the limping man. "You two come and help, Zac can't do it 'cause he's injured."
"Okay," Xavier replied.
The limping man also nodded. "Yes, Your Highness."
Veronica was standing aside, about to squat down and rummage through her waterproof backpack when she suddenly heard the limping man's voice. It startled her.
Since leaving the training ground in the afternoon until now, this was the first time the limping man spoke.
But his voice sounded so familiar!
Veronica frowned and thought for a moment. However, her thoughts were interrupted by a sudden bolt of thunder. She continued to search for the 1-person tent in her backpack.
After setting up the tent, Veronica put the backpack in the tent and joined the others to help.
"Veronica, go gather some firewood with Nelson,"
Liam instructed Veronica while pointing at the limping man.
So, his name is Nelson.
"Okay."
Without much thought, she said to Nelson, "Let's go."
