Caught in Love With My Previous CEO novel Chapter 54

Chapter 54 She was Injured for Samuel

Various thoughts were swirling in everyone's mind. Cameron's face revealed a mournful expression, looking immersed in sorrow. Others refrained from approaching him.

"If Mr. Langford doesn't do it, we'll be lost. What a pity," someone sighed.

Alexander sighed, completely ignoring the phrase "bloodthirsty person" and only wishing to eliminate Samuel at this moment.

Once he took the lead, the others quickly followed, filled with sighs.

Samuel remained silent, seemingly indifferent.

He was in no hurry, but Dale beside him was anxious. Everyone knew Mr. Mason's situation, and it was highly likely that it would not succeed. Samuel's refusal meant losing several hundred billion in annual revenue.

Tension filled the air. Suddenly, the elevator designated for the operating room opened, and several people walked out.

Samuel glanced at them and recognized Tina, who was wearing a coat over her bathrobe. The coat was his own that he had left in the hotel. Her hair was messy, and her makeup was not done properly. It was obvious that she had hurried over.

"Matthew?" someone exclaimed in astonishment. Everyone, except for Samuel, stood up.

Tina hurriedly approached, followed by a man. He had a tall figure, wore a camel-colored coat, and exuded an air of elegance and dignity. His glasses hid his gaze, which was gentle but also mature and profound.

"Mr. Mason, I'm Tina," Tina pulled Matthew forward and introduced herself to everyone. Then she introduced Matthew, "This is Dr. Thomas, a specialist in neurology."

Cameron was shocked to see the person they had been unable to find suddenly appear. He quickly shook hands with Matthew while casting a somewhat doubtful look at Tina.

"I'm Mr. Langford's assistant," Tina explained.

Cameron suddenly realized, and just as he was about to thank Samuel, Samuel stood up.

He glanced at Matthew, and his attitude was slightly more polite than when facing Alexander and the others.

"Dr. Thomas, would you please go and check on Mr. Mason first?" Samuel said.

Matthew adjusted his glasses, smiled, and glanced at Tina. "Shall I go first?"

Tina didn't expect him to ask her and felt somewhat embarrassed. She immediately nodded, "Please go ahead. If anything comes up, find me."

Matthew tugged at his lips, then glanced at Samuel before walking past everyone and heading inside.

As soon as he left, a wave of darkness swelled outside the operating room. Everyone's eyes seemed to want to pierce Tina. If she hadn't come, the issue of the mining rights might have already been settled.

Under the piercing gazes, Tina's head felt dizzy. She had been running all the way and her ankle was now throbbing as if being pricked by needles. She could barely stand.

Just as she gritted her teeth and endured the pain, the man beside her suddenly stood up and effortlessly guided her to his seat.

Tina froze and looked up, only to see a shadow cast by Samuel's tall figure, blocking the light and the view of others. It created a small world for her.
