Caught in Love With My Previous CEO novel Chapter 56

Chapter 56 Did Mr. Yan be Obedient Today?

Tina's heart roared with rage, wishing she could turn around and twist Samuel's head off.

She couldn't understand how his parents raised him. They had taught him to be as stubborn as a stone in a pit, both smelly and hard.

But she had ulterior motives. She couldn't afford to stay cold with Samuel, or else she would have wasted the entire night.

She opened her mouth, about to speak, when Dale's voice came from outside.

"Mr. Langford, Caitlyn sent something over, should I bring it in?"

Tina sighed through her lips, no longer wanting to talk.

Samuel still didn't open his eyes, but he didn't object either.

Dale cautiously opened the door and came in with a backpack.

Tina watched as he took out a blanket from the bag and handed it to Samuel. "Mr. Langford, cover yourself with this. It's easy to catch a cold in the hospital."

Samuel furrowed his brow, feeling a bit annoyed. He reached out and took the blanket without opening his eyes, then said, "Leave, find a place to rest on your own, don't bother me."

"Yes."

Tina rolled her eyes.

She lay on the nursing table. After applying the medicine, she had some time to rest.

As she laid down, the anxiety, exhaustion, and drowsiness that had been building up in her heart suddenly dissipated. Her heart was pounding uncomfortably.

She fell into a daze, only to be awakened by hurried footsteps outside.

Dale came in directly, waking up Samuel.

"Mr. Langford, Mr. Mason is awake and requests to see you."

Samuel opened his eyes, wiped his face, and threw the blanket aside, intending to get up.

As he walked toward the door, he suddenly turned and glanced at Tina.

Her drowsiness disappeared as she propped herself up and saw Samuel looking at her.

"Come out."

Samuel said inexplicably, then tidied up his clothes a bit and turned to walk towards the operating room.

Tina slapped her face, gritted her teeth, put on her slippers, and followed after him with a limp.

Mr. Mason was still in the intensive care unit, surrounded by a group of people outside. When they saw Samuel approaching, none of them met his gaze. It was as if a pack of wolves had seen a lion and were prepared to attack.

Suddenly, behind the lion walked a limping little lamb, with a smile on her face that made people grind their teeth.

Cameron walked over, patted Samuel's shoulder, and said, "You've worked hard. You didn't rest well for the whole night. Mr. Mason heard that you brought the doctor over and wants to see you as soon as he wakes up."

Samuel nodded slightly. Although there was tiredness on his face, his young and handsome features remained neat and clean, much better than the group of bloodshot-eyed people beside him.

Tina followed behind him, feeling excited. Mr. Mason was awake, and this time she could truly make requests to Samuel.
