Chapter 57 How Insidious Samuel Was
Tina didn't think that Samuel would change his mind. She listened carefully about what he said. She didn't want to miss anything.
Samuel bowed down and talked in Mr. Mason's ear, "Langford Group only wants seventy percent of the development right. The rest will be given to the Hart family and the Harper family."
Tina rolled her eyes, wondering the purpose of Samuel.
Mr. Mason figured it out faster than her. He smiled slightly and said in the oxygen mask, "That's smart."
Tina suddenly figured out the purpose of Samuel.
The power of the Grayson family and the Lin family was too great. If they cooperated with each other, they would take thirty percent least. And the three families would also confront each other. It was better to make the Hart family and the Harper family cooperate with each other. The two family had some power but was more less than the Langford Group.
Cooperating with the Hart family and the Harper family could keep the leading role of the Langford Group. The rest of the two families would try their best to stop the intervene of the Grayson family and the Lin family. They would become Samuel's tool.
Samuel was so insidious!
Mr. Mason coughed after saying a few words. He said being strenuous, "My health is not good. Later I will let you move on the project with Uncle Cameron. You need to work hard. You will achieve more than just controlling the Langford Group."
Samuel finally said something about asking Mr. Mason to have good rest and he straightened up his back.
Tina thought he was leaving. She took a step back.
Mr. Mason couldn't help asking Samuel seeing Tina, "Is this your personal assistant who has found the doctor?"
Samuel stopped and looked at Tina. Then he made eye contact with her quietly.
Tina stepped forward and nodded lovingly, "Mr. Mason, how do you do? I am Tina."
"Thank you." Mr. Mason looked very kind and said, "It is not easy to find the doctor at midnight."
Tina waved and said, "It is no big deal. I just bring the doctor here."
There was smile in Mr. Mason's eyes. He stared at Tina for a while. She had her ears burn and felt at a loss.
Mr. Mason said, "I will invite you to have dinner in my home when I recover. I can only say 'thank you' to you right now."
Tina didn't think that Mr. Mason would attach importance to that. She rejected politely immediately. She also said that it was her job and she was just to follow Samuel's order.
Seeing that she was so nervous. Mr. Mason looked even happier. He said, "You can return home first and have a good rest."
