Tina didn't expect Victoria to come in person. She tried to sit up, holding onto the chair, but was pushed back down by Walter.

"Why are you getting up?"

Tina's mouth twitched as she looked at the woman still wearing sunglasses at night.

"Sorry, Ms. Moore."

Victoria ostentatiously took off her glasses and smiled, "No worries."

She glanced at Walter, then at Tina, and suddenly bowed.

Tina was taken aback. "Ms. Moore, what are you doing?"

"I came here specifically to tell you about a misunderstanding," Victoria said with a standard smile, even the curve of her upturned lips was the same.

Tina furrowed her brows, her eyes flickering as she suddenly came up with something.

Victoria grinned and said, "Miss Lynd didn't actually swallow the ring."

"That's impossible!" Walter insisted, a little annoyed. "I turned her ice cream upside down, and there was nothing."

Victoria smiled at him and said, "That's because there was never a ring in the ice cream."

Walter froze. "What?"

Victoria explained with a smile, "The waiter serving the dishes was too nervous and mixed up your ice creams. The ring was in Mr. Johnson's ice cream."

Tina breathed a sigh of relief and carefully felt her stomach again. It seemed that she really wasn't uncomfortable anymore.

"But what about her seemingly dying just now?" Walter turned to the doctor, still a bit worried.

The old doctor couldn't help but roll his eyes, thinking that young people nowadays were too unreliable. He coldly said, "Ever heard of psychological effects?"
