Defying Fate: The Unstoppable Eileen novel Chapter 231

Jarvis, Bartley, and Harriet were all watching them.

She spoke ambiguously on purpose, as if she and Egbert were already living together, even sleeping together!

She wanted to show Harriet just how tough she was!

Egbert was struggling to hold back his laughter at this point.

He took Eileen's hand and placed it on his own knee, whispering, "Sleeping with you is all the satisfaction I need, even if I don't eat."

Eileen and everyone else were speechless.

The room fell into silence. Eileen knew she couldn't back down!

Even though Egbert was taking a bit of an advantage!

But it's okay, she could endure in the face of a formidable enemy!

Simon was swaying at this point.

He had no idea that things had escalated to this point, having not paid attention to Eileen for just a few days!

Simon felt his head buzzing, as if the sky was about to fall...

Harriet didn't know about the Lopez family's matters. Even though the Lopez family and the Forrest family were related by marriage, the Lopez family certainly wouldn't share their private affairs with relatives.

Harriet was still thinking, wasn't Egbert engaged to the missing daughter of the Lopez family?

How does he have a new girlfriend so quickly? And they're even living together?

Was the Lopez family's daughter abandoned?

Harriet was thinking about it while watching Eileen.

She's looking at me, she's looking at me!

Eileen immediately straightened up. She couldn't show any fear in front of Harriet.

Of the three onlookers, Jarvis reacted as the fastest one .

After a brief moment of shock, Jarvis' face broke into a genuine smile. He warmly said to Egbert and Eileen, "So you guys... haha... congratulations."

Egbert gave Jarvis a look, his eyebrows slightly furrowed.

After Jarvis finished speaking, he turned to Simon, laughing lightly, "Mr. Bartley, aren't you going to say something?"

He didn't want to say anything.

Simon didn't want to say anything at all.

But seeing Mr. Reed and Eileen looking at him, Simon gritted his teeth, saying after a long pause, "…congratulations."

Eileen immediately perked up, waving her hand and falsely saying, "Ah, how did you guys find out, we were really low-key."

After speaking, she looked at Harriet again. Seeing Harriet still staring at her, she simply leaned into Egbert's arm, making the situation even more obvious.

Simon's heart was about to shatter, while Jarvis was nonchalantly lying on the bed, smiling the whole time.

Harriet was very excited inside, but had to pretend to be calm on the surface, trying to maintain the demeanor of an elder.

Harriet was too calm, making it hard to deal with!

Eileen didn't have any experience in seeking revenge either. Seeing that Harriet didn't react much, she felt that the situation wasn't promising.

Eileen thought for a moment, then turned to Egbert and asked, "What's on your face?"

Egbert was taken aback, reaching up to touch his face.

Eileen grabbed his hand, then suddenly leaned in, kissing Egbert's face and saying, "Oh, it's my kiss!"

The ward fell silent once again.

Jarvis was dumbfounded, Simon was on the brink of collapse, and Harriet almost let out an excited yell!
