Chapter 658 Five Days
This was one reason Troy often acted so aggressively.

But Isabella understood one thing very well. People were the biggest uncertainty in life. No matter how powerful you were, you could not force someone to stay or obey.
Now two children were involved. And children made everything even more unpredictable.
Business and power were different. Resources could be divided. With the right methods, you could usually get the result you wanted.
But people could never be controlled.
And now the children were gone. That was something Troy could not control.
Just thinking about the missing babies made Isabella’s hands tremble.
She could not imagine the pressure Troy was under. If the twins were not found, how would he explain it to his parents? How would he face Martin? And most of all-how would he face Ayla?
The twins were Troy’s strongest hope of winning Ayla back.
Ayla loved those children deeply. After losing a baby before, these two little lives had helped heal the hole in her heart. Floyd and Esme meant everything to her. The loss of the twins would be devastating to her. And she would hate Troy forever.
Isabella could see all of this clearly. Troy must have thought about it even earlier than she did.
He understood Ayla better than anyone. That meant he knew exactly how terrible the consequences could be.
But one question remained. How did the children disappear?
Who had the nerve to kidnap the babies?
When they arrived at Blue Villa, the once heavily guarded mansion was in chaos.
Paramedics were still treating the housekeeper. The nannies looked pale and shaken. The bodyguards stood stiffly, explaining what had happened.
The weather had been lovely that afternoon. The nannies had taken the babies outside for some sun inside the neighborhood. Then, without warning, both the nannies and the guards suddenly passed out. When they woke up, the stroller was still there. But the twins were gone.
Whoever did it had planned everything. All security footage had been wiped clean. The babies had vanished into thin air. They were so young. If someone hid them and quietly moved them away, it would be almost impossible to trace.
Troy’s eyes slowly swept over the bodyguards. The man he looked at turned pale. His legs gave out, and he dropped to his knees.
Without a word, Troy kicked him hard in the ribs. The guard collapsed backward with a cry. The other nannies shrank against the wall, terrified.
1/3 Troy said nothing for several seconds. Then he pulled out his phone. He called contacts at the police department and ordered them

to start an investigation immediately. He also contacted senior officials in the transportation department, telling them to check every highway, airport, and train station.
He made every call he could. But the search had to stay quiet. No one outside could know.
After the last call, Troy sat down on the couch. Then he gave Isabella a cold order. “Cut all the security feeds,” he said. “And delete the old footage too.”
Ayla’s business trip was extremely busy. If she ever had time to check the home cameras, everything would be exposed. Luckily, she would not return for another five days. Troy told himself he had to find the twins before then. Five days. That was all he had.
Two hours passed. Still no news.
Then Troy’s phone rang. It was Ayla.
Her voice came through the phone. “Why can’t I see the house cameras? Did the twins sleep well today?”
The moment he heard her voice, Troy’s hand shook. But his voice stayed calm. “I’m still working overtime,” he said. “I haven’t checked on them yet. But I have a video from earlier. They were outside getting some sun. They’re doing fine.”
‘Send me the video,” Ayla said.
She sounded normal. Not suspicious at all. Then she asked, “What happened to the cameras?”
Troy answered smoothly. “Grandpa thinks once the kids start crawling, the house needs better safety systems. The cameras are being upgraded this week, so they might be down for a few days.”
Ayla didn’t doubt him. Troy never traveled for work. As the father, he stayed home to watch them. On top of that, two trained security guards were on duty at the villa 24 hours a day.
So Ayla never worried about the twins’ safety. She just wanted to see them. Since becoming a mother, she has changed. Babies at his age were the cutest. She had only been gone for two days, but she already missed their soft cheeks and the warm sweet smell
on them.
Still, this trip kept her extremely busy. She spent every day running between labs and studying data. When work piled up, she Jarely had time to check the cameras.
‘Alright,” she said. “Take good care of them.”
