I Walked Away And He Lost His Mind (Zephyra and Steven) novel Chapter 218

Four consecutive messages flooded my phone, each one more unbelievable than the last.

“【Pella District Estates】: This is a notification that ‘Breeze Manor,’ located on a 12,000 sq. ft. property with 22 master suites, has been fully renovated to the highest standards. Per your request, your custom-designed, top-tier furnishings will be installed by our dedicated team.”

“【Pella District Estates】: This is a notification that your ownership has been fast-tracked through our highest-priority process. The deed and keys will be delivered to you by a personal courier. Please be available to receive them. If the current address is inconvenient, please contact Mr. James at 555-XXXX to arrange a new delivery location. We are committed to serving you, wherever you may be.”

“【Pella District Estates】: This is a notification that security, property management, and landscaping staff are now on standby. They will maintain the villa’s gardens, vegetable patches, and orchards to your exact specifications, free of charge.”

“【Pella District Estates】: This is a notification that we are at your service 24/7. We await your visit to inspect the renovation and its progress. We wish you a pleasant day.”

I stared at the messages, my mouth hanging open in disbelief.

This real estate scam was still going on? I remembered the last time they’d told me to bring my ID and marriage certificate to get the deed. Now, just a few days later, the deed was supposedly already processed?

And they’d upgraded the scam. Last time it was a villa; this time, it was a full-blown manor on twice the land!

“This has to be a scam, right?” I muttered. “Sometimes I feel so helpless. I should just call the police.”

I knew nothing in life was free. Even if it were, a prize like a manor in Pella District—the most exclusive area for the ultra-wealthy—would never fall into my lap. A property like that would be worth billions.

Of all the people I knew, only men with the net worth of Steven or Myron could afford something like that.

Steven didn't even like manors; he found them too empty and cold if there weren’t enough people living in them. That’s why he’d bought a villa for our marital home.
