I Walked Away And He Lost His Mind (Zephyra and Steven) novel Chapter 732

Mr. Lancaster Sr. held my hand tightly, looking me up and down with deep concern and affection in his eyes.

“Grandpa, I'm fine now! Don't you worry,” I reassured him, a warm feeling spreading through my chest.

Mr. Lancaster Sr. gently patted the back of my hand before turning his gaze to Steven, his tone growing stern.

“Steven, Zephyra is pregnant now. You'd better take good care of her. If anything happens to her, I won't forgive you!”

Then Mr. Lancaster Sr. turned to me, gave me a wink, and whispered, “My girl, an opportunity like this doesn't come often. Don't be shy with him—make him do whatever you want!”

Steven's brow furrowed. “Grandpa, I can hear you!”

Mr. Lancaster Sr.'s eyes sharpened, and he deliberately raised his voice. “Even better! The most important thing for our family right now is taking care of Zephyra and her baby. So you'd better pay attention and stop walking around with that long face all day!”

Helpless, Steven could only swallow his frustration and stand silently to the side.

I studied the old man carefully, a mix of emotions swirling within me.

I hadn't seen him in a while, and he seemed to have aged considerably; even his wrinkles looked deeper. Thinking of his recent accident, I couldn't help but feel a pang of guilt.

“Grandpa, I heard you were injured. How are you recovering?”

I'd heard about it from Gordon. Apparently, it was a car crash.

Mr. Lancaster Sr. smiled and waved his hand dismissively. “It's nothing, I'm already all better.”
