Chapter 443 I’ll Bring Nina Out
Nick hadn’t even made it halfway home when Elizabeth’s call came through.
“Where did you take Nina?” Elizabeth demanded.
The question completely threw Nick off.

“What? What are you talking about?” he asked, utterly confused.
Elizabeth was furious. She spoke sharply, emphasizing each word, “The package Tina asked to deliver! Nina was inside it. Where did you take that package? Turn around and get her back right now! Hurry up!”

Nick was speechless for several seconds, trying to process this bombshell.
He hung up, made a U-turn, and sped back in a panic.
When he arrived, he rushed to find his package.
“The package! My package! Where is it?” he called out.
But in that short time, the box was no longer at the gate. Nick asked the guards to help him look, but they brushed him off dismissively.
With no other option, Benjamin arrived with William in tow.
The family Lester belonged to was an old, deeply-rooted power in Marisavia.
They couldn’t just barge onto their property to search for a child. Even William, showing up personally, hit a wall.
The Powell family’s butler, Olivier White, appeared. “Mr. Powell is unwell and resting. He is not receiving guests,” he stated coolly. “The box you’re looking for will be brought out to you.”
He had the box Nina was hiding in retrieved and handed it over to Benjamin and William.
The box was empty.
William stared at the empty container, his expression grim. “Where is the child who was in this box?”
Olivier offered a faint, polite smile. “The box my people recovered was empty. I asked around; no one saw any child inside.”
William refused to accept this. “Show me the security footage. My child is in there,” he insisted,

his voice cold.
The demand to see the surveillance cameras made Olivier’s face darken.

His gaze fixed sharply on William. “William, your request is unreasonable. The security footage
here is not for outsiders to view.”
This Powell Estate was highly secure. Even someone as favored as Lester was prohibited from recording anything while inside. Olivier’s stance was firm; he would not allow outsiders to pry.
William couldn’t force his way in, but he also couldn’t bring himself to leave.
His precious Nina was in there. He would find her, no matter the cost.
As the standoff reached a boiling point, Lester, having been informed, arrived.
He was genuinely surprised to learn Nina had hidden in a delivery box to come find him at the Powell Estate. He hadn’t expected her to go that far.
His earlier promise to play with her had been casual, but her determination to see him was unexpectedly strong.
Lester knew his adoptive father Philip Powell’s temperament all too well. Philip would never allow the Grahams to search his home.
To prevent the situation from escalating further, Lester addressed Benjamin directly.
“I’ll bring Nina out,” Lester stated. “You can go back and wait.”
Despite his offer, none of the Grahams were about to leave. William studied Lester closely, a clear edge of displeasure in his voice.
“So you’re Lester.” In his eyes, Lester was the root cause of this whole mess.
Lester gave a curt “Hmm” in acknowledgment but didn’t engage further with William. His focus remained on Benjamin.
The look Benjamin gave Lester was icy, with their already strained relationship deteriorating another notch. But personal grievances had to wait. Benjamin’s voice was low and deadly
serious.
“If anything happens to Nina, Lester,” Benjamin said, each word deliberate, “it will be the end of one of us.”
Despite his deep dislike for Lester, Benjamin’s logic prevailed.
The fastest way to get Nina back was for Lester, who could move freely inside, to go find her. A

confrontation at the gate would only waste precious time.
Benjamin and William didn’t prolong the stalemate. They returned to their car to wait.
Lester watched them go, then turned and entered the Powell Estate
gates.

Olivier walked beside him, his tone noticeably softer than it had been with the Grahams.
“Mr. Lester Powell,” Olivier began, “I wasn’t trying to be difficult with the Graham family. When I had the box retrieved, there truly was no child inside it.”
As for the estate’s security footage, even Olivier had no access. Philip had a private security team that answered only to him; they controlled the surveillance system.
Olivier finished his explanation, then lowered his voice in a quiet reminder. “Mr. Powell’s health is poor, and his mood isn’t the best. When you dine with him, perhaps you could steer the conversation toward more pleasant topics.”
Lester murmured an agreement to Olivier’s well-intentioned advice.
