They had a special phone watch custom-made for little Nina.
It was expected to arrive around these days.

As the group of two adults and their kids was making their way out, Freya stopped them just short of the door.
“Daniel, you know how Mia is. She’s got a bit of a sharp tongue, but she’s not bad. She was just all worked up earlier-” she tried to explain.
“Freya, no need to go on about it. You don’t have to worry. My beef with Mia won’t spill over to you. But I’d appreciate it if you stayed out of this,” he said.
Daniel gave her a smile, but Freya, who knew him well, could tell he was genuinely peeved.
With that, Freya stopped trying to talk him around. She watched Daniel leave and then headed back to check on Jane.
Jane had taken her medicine and was resting in bed.
Her hand had been tended to.
Mia was sitting by her bedside, eyes brimming with tears, looking all worried.
“Mia,” Freya called.
“Freya, you’re here. Mom’s okay. She just dozed off.” Mia sniffled.
Then she started to gripe. “That kid Daniel brought, she’s so badly behaved. You think Benjamin’s really her dad? She doesn’t look a thing like him.”
Freya was in a bit of a bind hearing this. “Mia, did you actually see Nina hurt Mom?”
Mia bit her lip and then nodded. “Freya, I saw it. I’m not making it up. Don’t you trust me?”
Freya fell silent for a moment.
Then she patted Mia’s shoulder and said seriously, “Mia, lay off Daniel and stay clear of the Graham family.”
They were really protective of their own.
Nina’s William’s only granddaughter, the little princess of the whole Graham family.
Whether she was a good kid or not, they couldn’t afford to stir up trouble with them.
But Mia wasn’t having any of it.
Seeing Freya give up on Benjamin, she got an idea in her head.
She knew she couldn’t hold a candle to her sister, but Mia thought she was a catch compared to other
Women.

She was determined to make Nina and her mom step aside.
Mia nodded obediently to Freya but was already scheming to meet Nina’s mom.

Maybe after the meeting, Nina’s mom would realize she wasn’t good enough for Benjamin and back off
“Alright, Mia. Keep an eye on Mom. I’ll go see to the guests outside,” Freya said.
“Sure!” Mia nodded.

Meanwhile, poor little Nina, who hadn’t eaten a thing, was hugging her bottle of freshly-made milk. She’d take a few sips, then pull out the nipple and let out a few sobs.
Then she’d suck on the bottle again.
She was doing both crying and drinking at the same time, and Daniel had been trying to soothe her all the way without any success.
Just as they reached the door, Benjamin, who’d been away a lot these days, showed up.
As soon as Benjamin stepped into sight, Daniel wasted no time and stuffed little Nina, still crying, with a bottle in her chubby hands, into his arms.
“Come on, calm her down!” Daniel urged right after shoving Nina over.
Benjamin was left a bit stunned.
Looking down, he locked eyes with the tear-streaked little one.
The poor thing was utterly heartbroken.
Sniffling, she started to babble her grievances at her “bad daddy”.
“Nina good… Lady… bad! Wahhh…Nina…no go to that lady house.”
With a sob, she buried her wet little face into Benjamin’s chest, leaving a mess of tears and snot on his shirt.
Benjamin was a clean freak.
Yet, thinking about how Nina always blamed him for not loving her, he frowned slightly but managed to hold back the urge to lift her face and wipe it.
