That meant that at this point in time, the James family knew who York was.
She remembered clearly that Ann's sister-in-law, Fiona Yves, had parents who ran a seafood stall here.
In her past life, Ann's brother and sister-in-law were unemployed and had always helped out at this stall.
Although they didn't know her yet, they would definitely recognize York.
Before long, Claudia spotted Fiona.
York noticed Claudia pressing deeper into the market, her shoes getting wet.
He stopped and grabbed her arm. "There are plenty of stalls out here. Let's not go any further in, it's filthy back there."
Claudia deliberately shook off his hand. "Oh, I almost forgot you've lived a life of luxury and have never been to a place like this. Why don't you wait in the car? I'll go buy what I need by myself."
York didn't bother explaining. "I'll come with you," he said.
As Claudia turned and headed for a stall, York pulled out his phone and sent a quick message.
Claudia hadn't even reached the stall when Fiona called out with a warm greeting. Claudia walked over naturally.
She squatted down, pointed to a basket of snow crabs, and asked for the price.
Before Fiona could answer, Claudia followed her gaze and, just as she expected, saw York.
York walked to Claudia's side and bent down to help her up. "Be careful, the ground is wet."
Claudia rose calmly, her eyes fixed on the shocked expressions of Fiona and her husband, Backus James.
Just as she thought. They both recognized York instantly.
A thrill of excitement ran through Claudia.
Now that they recognized him, things would be much easier.
Claudia pointed to the basket of snow crabs. "York, my mom loves snow crab. Let's get a few extra."
York gestured at the basket in front of Claudia. "We'll take them all."
Claudia pointed to another section. "And the scarlet shrimp."
York: "Bag them all up."
Claudia shook her head. "That's too much. We won't be able to finish it all."
