The Abandoned Wife Dumped Him First (Victoria and Elias) novel Chapter 105

"How did I get them? You're the one who suggested we film them in the first place, back when you wanted money from me. What's wrong? Told so many lies you actually started to believe you're some innocent little flower? That you were forced to marry me?"

Henry leaned back on the sofa, lazily blowing a smoke ring. "Genevieve, I never realized you were such a good actress. No, wait, you were always a good actress. Playing the devoted little lapdog, following me around just so you could marry into money. The moment I went bankrupt, you ran right back to your old flame, demanding a divorce and leaving me with nothing."

"By the way, does your old flame know you crawled into my bed for a taste of the good life the second you went abroad? What do you think he'd do if he saw these pictures and videos of us in bed?"

"Henry, you wouldn't dare!" Genevieve hissed, her face dark.

"Wouldn't I? Why don't you test me and find out?" Henry said dismissively. He knew she wouldn't dare.

And Genevieve knew better than anyone that he really would.

A man with nothing left to lose is scared of nothing. And right now, Henry was a madman with nothing to lose. When he snapped, he wouldn't care about anything. At worst, he'd die. He had hit rock bottom.

But she couldn't afford to go down with him.

The image she had so carefully built for Elias couldn't be destroyed by these photos and videos.

Elias knew she had been married and had carried Henry's child, so he must have accepted that they'd had a physical relationship. But that was based on her word, not on seeing it with his own eyes.

Hearing about something and seeing it with your own eyes were two very different things.

Especially when it came to explicit photos of her and Henry.

Genevieve took a deep breath, forcing down her anger. She got straight to the point. "How much money do you want to delete those photos and videos?"

"How much? Hmm, I'll have to think about that." Henry dragged out his words, deliberately toying with her. "Eight million?"

"Fine—"

Just as Genevieve was about to agree, Henry changed his mind. "No, the title of Mrs. Shawn is worth more than a measly eight million. Let me think... ten million? Tsk, still too little. After paying off my debts, I'd have barely anything left. Not even enough to tide me over. Let me see, my lucky number is five, so how about…"

Genevieve's patience was wearing thin. "Henry, don't push it!"

Henry let out a cold, mocking laugh. "Genevieve, when it comes to pushing it, I've got nothing on you."

Genevieve's interruption killed Henry's desire to play games. "One price. Thirty million."

"Thirty million?!" Genevieve's voice shot up. "Are you dreaming, Henry? Where am I supposed to get that kind of money?"
