Aurelian Central Design Institute, Design Team Three's office.

"Victoria, good job! The client is very satisfied with your design proposal!" Felice Donald, the deputy director of Design Team Three, walked over, beaming, and patted Victoria's shoulder a couple of times.

"Wow! Victoria, you're amazing! Is there any client you can't win over?" Sunny Lewis, who sat opposite Victoria, praised her generously.

"Just a lucky break," Victoria said with a faint smile.

"Come on, your talent is plain for everyone to see." Felice said, handing a file to Victoria. "This is a major project for The Shawn Group, and you played a key role in finalizing the design. Leadership has taken note of your capabilities. Keep up the excellent work, and good news is surely on the way."

Victoria looked up at Felice.

Felice gave her a meaningful smile, then turned to the entire office. "Thanks to Victoria, our team has landed a major contract. To celebrate, afternoon tea is on me today. Tell my assistant what you want to eat or drink."

Cheers erupted in the large office of more than a dozen people. "Thanks, Director Donald and Victoria!"

After Felice returned to her office, Sunny, who had overheard their entire conversation, couldn't hold back. She rolled her chair over to Victoria's desk and whispered, "Victoria, congratulations!"

Victoria looked at her, puzzled. "Congratulations for what?"

"For your upcoming promotion to deputy director, of course!" she said. "I heard that Mr. Ridge from the design department is being transferred to be the general manager of a branch office, and the new director will be chosen from among the three deputy directors. Thanks to you, Director Donald landed this huge project. It's a no-brainer that she'll get the director position!"

"And if she becomes the design department director, her spot as deputy director of Team Three will be open. Everyone knows they like to promote from within, so the position will definitely be filled by someone from our team. Didn't you hear what Director Donald just said? She's clearly hinting at you!"

"How do you know all this?"

Victoria had a quiet disposition and didn't pay much attention to internal promotions at the Institute, preferring to focus on her passion for architectural design.

"You're talking to our team's go-to for intel!" Sunny grinned, looking smug.

Victoria couldn't help but smile.

The afternoon summer sun was a bit harsh. The office blinds were drawn, but light streamed through the gaps, casting stripes across the room, some of which fell on the people inside.

Seeing Victoria's smile in the sunlight, Sunny was lost for a moment. "Victoria, you're honestly the most beautiful woman I've ever seen," she blurted out. "If I were a man, I'd definitely pursue you! Any guy who marries you must have done something amazing in a past life!"
