The Abandoned Wife Dumped Him First (Victoria and Elias) novel Chapter 155

Victoria's eyes widened in shock. As reality set in, she began to struggle with all her might.

But his grip was too strong. No matter how much she fought, he remained unyielding.

"Mmph—mmm—" Victoria clenched her jaw, acutely aware of the searing heat radiating from the man's body.

"Meow~ Meow~" Dawn, seeming to sense the danger, cried out at their feet, trying to hook her claws into the man's pants.

Victoria's wrists were slender, easily restrained by one of the man's hands. Sensing her resistance, he used his free hand to grab her waist, digging his fingers into the small of her back.

"Ah…"

Her cry of pain tore free, and he used it to deepen the kiss, his tongue sliding past her teeth to tangle with hers until there was nowhere left for her to run.

Her whole body went rigid as helplessness crashed over her. Her eyes burned, filling until one hot tear finally slipped free and fell between their mouths.

It was warm, and a little salty.

Elias froze. "Why are you crying?"

The familiar voice registered, and Victoria looked at him in disbelief, her own voice hoarse. "E… Elias."

She had been so terrified, her mind filled with images of single women being assaulted and murdered, that she hadn't been able to process anything else, not even his scent.

But now, she could clearly smell Elias's signature scent—a cool, woody fragrance mixed with a faint hint of tobacco.

The man in front of her was Elias!

"It's me." Elias's Adam's apple bobbed. His intense gaze was fixed on her face, and the heat inside him surged again. Veins bulged on his forehead as he cupped her jaw and kissed her once more.

Victoria's heart seized. Mustering a strength she didn't know she had, she pushed him away.

"Elias, are you insane?!"

The terror she had felt moments ago hadn't fully subsided, but upon realizing the man who had assaulted her was Elias, it transformed into a burning rage in her chest.

Her eyes were filled with disappointment, and her body trembled uncontrollably.

In those few short seconds, a thousand scenarios had flashed through her mind, but she had never imagined that Elias would do this to her.

Elias stared at her, his gaze dark and heavy.

Victoria pressed her lips together. The broken skin on her lip stung, a constant, sharp reminder that brought her back to her senses.

She took a deep breath, forcing herself to calm down, and flipped on the light switch. "Elias, please leave!"

Elias was desperately trying to control his urges. He stepped closer, his dark eyes filled with a predatory hunger.

Victoria met his gaze, and her heart sank as she realized something was wrong.

His face was flushed, and the veins at his temples were prominent.
