"Aaaah!"
In just a few short minutes, the thugs who had been so cocky moments before were all writhing on the floor, groaning in pain. A flimsy wooden chair had been smashed over them, splintering on impact, a testament to the sheer force of their attacker.
"You... you... stay away from me!"
The blond man's pupils constricted in terror as he watched Elias approach, stumbling backward.
He was almost at the door. Not caring about anything else, the blond man turned to flee.
Suddenly, Elias kicked him squarely in the back.
The man pitched forward and face-planted hard, feeling as if every bone in his body had been shattered. Hearing footsteps behind him, he snapped back to his senses and started crawling on all fours.
However, just as he moved forward, Elias strode past him, lifted his foot, and brought it down precisely on his hand.
"Argh!"
The blond man screamed, trying to pull his hand back, but the leather shoe pinned it mercilessly. The more he struggled, the more it hurt.
Soon, beads of cold sweat formed on his forehead, and his entire body trembled uncontrollably. He began to beg, his words stumbling out.
"I-I-I was wrong! I-I'll never do it again! Never again!"
He struggled to lift his head, his face contorted in pain. "P-please, I'm begging you, l-let me go! W-whatever you want, I-I can... I can give it to you!"
Elias looked down, his cold eyes reflecting the man's pathetic, pleading state. To him, this person was nothing more than an ant.
His lips parted. "Whatever I want, you can give me?"
Meeting Elias's gaze was like being plunged into an ice cellar. The thug didn't hesitate, nodding frantically. "Yes, yes! As long as you let me go, whatever you want, I can—urgh—"
"I want your life!"
As he spoke, Elias's eyes filled with a grim malice. He pressed down with his foot and twisted.
Crack—
The sound of a bone breaking was unnervingly clear in the quiet room.
An intense wave of pain washed over the blond man. His vision went black, and he opened his mouth, but the agony was so severe he couldn't make a sound. In the next instant, a large hand grabbed him and slammed him against the door.
Bang!
With a loud crack, the door panel gave way under the force. The back of the man's head hit the ground hard. The world spun, his chest vibrated, and a thick, metallic taste surged up his throat.
"Cough... cough, cough..." The man struggled to turn onto his side, coughing up mouthfuls of blood.
Before he could react, he was hauled up by the collar again.
A monster! This man was a cold-blooded monster!
Terror filled the blond man's eyes. He wanted to struggle, but he was like a cornered animal waiting for the final blow, every part of his body screaming in pain. He had no strength to resist and could only watch helplessly as this crazed demon descended upon him.
He was filled with regret. The blood rising in his throat seemed to choke him, and his voice was laced with a desperate sob. "No, don't... don't... I was wrong, I was wrong, I'll never do it again..."
"Too late."
