The Abandoned Wife Dumped Him First (Victoria and Elias) novel Chapter 253

The living room was brightly lit.

Elias sat on the sofa, his long legs slightly bent, somehow making the space feel cramped.

Victoria took a burn ointment from the first-aid kit and knelt in front of Elias.

"This might hurt a little. Try to bear with it," she said softly, her eyelashes lowered as she applied the cream to a cotton swab.

Elias looked down at her. With her head slightly bowed, he couldn't see her expression, only the shadow cast by her thick, fan-like lashes on her eyelids.

When he didn't respond, Victoria lifted her gaze and was caught in his.

His eyes were dark and unreadable, her face clearly reflected in their depths.

Victoria froze. "You—"

His eyes darkened. His large hand suddenly seized her delicate wrist and, with a sharp tug, pulled her into his arms, flipping her over and pinning her beneath him.

He moved so fast that Victoria had no time to react.

It wasn't until the back of her head hit the sofa hard that she realized what Elias was doing. She twisted her wrist, her brow furrowed. "Elias, let me go!"

As she spoke, she bent her knee, aiming to strike him.

Elias's eyes narrowed. As if anticipating her resistance, he bent his own leg, forcefully pinning hers down. He lowered his head, moving closer to her.

Victoria struggled in vain. Seeing his lips about to descend on hers, she pressed them tightly together and turned her head away.

The next moment, his lips landed on her neck. Her skin was delicate, and the sudden contrast of his cool touch on her warm skin sent a shiver through her.

Elias felt the woman beneath him tense up.

His gaze darkened as he remembered the message the nurse had relayed for her today. A vein throbbed at his temple. He parted his lips and sank his teeth into the soft flesh of her neck.

"Ah!"

Caught off guard, Victoria cried out in pain.

Elias bit down hard, breaking her skin almost instantly. A faint taste of blood spread across his tongue. His eyes grew darker as he sucked on the spot.

Victoria gasped in pain. "Elias, don't..." she blurted out.

Her voice was broken, which to Elias's ears sounded more like an invitation.
