The Abandoned Wife Dumped Him First (Victoria and Elias) novel Chapter 350

The car ride was silent, with only the navigation voice breaking the quiet.

Finally, the car pulled into the outdoor parking lot of the supermarket.

Victoria unbuckled her seatbelt, pursed her lips, and finally asked the question she had been holding back the entire drive. "Elias, what exactly are you trying to do?"

She turned her head, looking at the sharp angles of his profile. She took a deep breath and continued, "If you're still holding a grudge about my father forcing you into marriage two years ago, you can just tell me. Name your price. If it's something I can do, I'll do it. But please... don't go near my dad again. He can't take any more stress."

In her eyes, was he really that vindictive?

Ungrateful woman!

Elias felt the fire smoldering inside him burn hotter, threatening to erupt.

"Get out!"

His voice was icy and low, as if squeezed through his clenched teeth. The temperature inside the car seemed to drop several degrees, a chilling air filling every corner.

The warm air from the overhead heaters washed over Victoria as she walked in, chasing away much of the chill from outside.

She slowed her pace and instinctively glanced back.

Seeing that Elias hadn't followed her in, Victoria visibly relaxed.

Victoria selected the main ingredients and pushed her cart toward the kitchen supply aisle to find suitable gloves, completely oblivious to two small children roughhousing and chasing each other nearby.

Suddenly, a cry of alarm!

"Ah! Watch out!"

Victoria's body reacted instinctively. She whipped her head around just in time to see the shelving unit behind her get knocked over, toppling straight toward her—
