Robert's eyes were popping, and his lips started to tremble.
Brittany saw this and knew she had achieved her goal, so she turned and left.
Behind her came the sound of Robert throwing a tantrum. She stepped into the elevator, cutting herself off from it all.
Back in the office.
Everything that could be smashed was smashed, and Robert was lying on the floor. He had lost a lot of weight in the past half month, and now he looked like a centipede lying on the ground, his spine showing through his shirt.
He was trembling, and tears were pouring down his face like a flood.
"Julie."
He suddenly remembered that three months into their marriage, he had left Gianna's house and bought a cake for Julie, her favorite flavor.
Julie was already pregnant then, but still slim and beautiful.
He offered her the cake, but Julie didn't take it. Instead, she knocked it over, her eyes full of disgust, and she didn't even bother to talk to him. He was furious and they had a big fight.
After that, Julie never really talked to him again.
Because of this, he began to suspect that Julie was cheating on him, and their relationship pretty much died.
It wasn't until now that he realized that Julie had known about his affair all along. He now remembered how good Julie had been to him.
She would hand him a glass of milk when he came home late at night; when he was not feeling well, she would take care of him wholeheartedly; she was even willing to have a daughter for him. But he ruined it all.
He was lying on the ground, powerless, shaking all over, crying like a baby, but nobody cared.
After leaving the Dustin Group, Brittany was unable to calm down for a long time.
After a while, she called Donna Dustin. The call was picked up quickly: "Bri, what's up?"
"Grandma, I want to buy the Dustin Group."
