The Contracted Ever After novel Chapter 292

The following morning, Ronan got up early and left. Janice had packed a lunch for Cordelia to take with her in the afternoon.

"Why not make it for both of us in the future, just one more serving," Cordelia suggested to Janice.

"Sure," Janice agreed, pleased to see Cordelia in a better mood.

Since Cordelia was heading to Lumos Enterprises, a place where Ronan held considerable sway, Janice didn't accompany her.

"Cordelia, I'm glad you're here. Look at all these files on my desk, they're driving me crazy. We need to get through them quickly. When you get tired, just take a break," Milana exclaimed.

"Alright," Cordelia responded calmly, picking up the first file. She was experienced in this sort of work, handling it with ease. Thanks to Cordelia, Milana's workload was progressing much quicker than anticipated.

At three in the afternoon, Cordelia decided to take a break. She hadn't moved from her desk all day and was feeling a bit uncomfortable. She didn't stray far, heading to the yoga studio to stretch her muscles.

Just as she was about to change into her yoga outfit, Kitty spoke up, "Cordelia, I got you a new set. Have a look."

With that, Kitty presented a loose-fitting yoga outfit. Though it was stylish and chic, it was also very conservative, covering her from head to toe. Moreover, it was so loose that it would undoubtedly hinder her movements, making her look clumsy.

Cordelia was certain that someone as professional as Kitty would definitely not buy such yoga attire, and asking her to change into yoga clothing all of a sudden would seem quite abrupt, wouldn't it?

"Did he ask you to buy this?" Cordelia recalled that yesterday, Ronan had probably gone to Wyatt's office and seen her practicing yoga.

Kitty looked somewhat awkward, "Well, you know men. They don't like their women to be seen by others. Try to understand Mr. Evans' feelings."

Though Cordelia didn't say anything, she was displeased. Ronan's possessiveness was manifesting again, and she didn't appreciate his interference.
