After sorting out the business, the three of them all came back together. She was now scared to interact with Ronan, not knowing how many secrets he could extract from her.
When Ronan got home, Janice told him that Mrs. Evans had sent her a message that day. Checking the timestamp of the message, Ronan commented coldly, "She's quick to react, no wonder she's so frank."
Less than a week later, Ronan's secretary personally delivered a donation certificate to Cordelia:
Mr. Ronan, Miss Cordelia:
The 200 computers that you donated to Evergreen Primary School have been distributed to the students.
Thank you very much!
Looking at this certificate, Cordelia had mixed feelings. She had originally hoped her name would be alongside Logan's, but now it had been replaced by Ronan's.
Just now, Ronan's secretary personally delivered the certificate, and everyone was curious. They all gathered around to see what it was. When they saw "Mr. Ronan, Miss Cordelia," their expressions froze. It seemed that Ronan and Cordelia didn't break up, but were getting closer.
Everyone, especially Jordan, was shocked. His previous attitude towards Cordelia was a bit too extreme and needed to be corrected.
The next day, Jordan told Cordelia that she had become the new Lumos Star.
Cordelia knew this was just Jordan trying to please Ronan and lost interest, not caring too much about it.
Jordan also informed Ronan, who didn't respond.
That day, Cordelia received a call from Ronan in the office. "Hello, Mr. Evans." Since everyone in the office knew, Cordelia just directly addressed him as "Mr. Evans".
Sure enough, everyone in the office perked up their ears.
"My grandfather fainted, but I'm out of town for a meeting. Can you go home and check on him?" Even though the situation was urgent, Ronan's voice was still calm.
