Ronald was initially tasked by Sienna to dissuade Cordelia from reconciling with Ronan, but ironically, his arrival had prompted the child, Callum, to acknowledge Cordelia as his mother. It seemed his meddling only complicated matters. He was reluctant to engage in such underhanded tactics, but Sienna had threatened to cut off his allowance and kick him out of their luxurious mansion if he refused. Money spoke volumes in their world, after all. However, Ronald also wanted to see Cordelia, so he came.

"Well, since your student is here, I'll make myself scarce," Ronald said, handing over some photographs he'd brought with him. "These are all yours." With that, he made his exit.

Downstairs in the garden, Sienna was anxiously waiting for Ronald. As he sauntered over, she asked, "How did it go?"

"Er, it was okay," Ronald replied, careful not to upset Sienna. He didn't mention that Callum had called Cordelia 'mom', instead, he said, "One of her students, Harold, came by to deliver some eggs."

"Really?" Sienna's face lit up with triumph. Harold was from Birchwood College and given enough time, Cordelia would surely give in. "Don't tell Samantha about this. She's taken a fancy to Harold."

"Taken a fancy to Harold?" Ronald tried to recall Harold's appearance. A handsome young lad, tall, with an impressive build, he was probably a few years younger than Samantha, considering he was still in school. "Samantha has good taste."

Sienna shot Ronald a disdainful glance, "Get lost! Samantha is about to lose the lead role."

"As long as she has enough to get by, what's the big deal? Isn't this better than our days in Roseville?"

Sienna ignored Ronald. She wished she could replace him as well. Look at him, with no ambition at all.

"Mom, mom, can you make me some egg tarts?" Callum was beside himself with joy, standing by the sofa and calling out to Cordelia.

Upon hearing the child call her 'mom', Cordelia had no choice but to agree, thinking to herself, she'd have to take things one step at a time.
