Sheila was green with envy when she saw Ellinor with Mr. Larios, but she had to plaster on a friendly smile. "Ellinor, where've you been?"
Ellinor came over and honestly answered, "I needed the loo but couldn't find it after a good look around. Then I bumped into Mr. Larios and asked him to lead the way."
Sheila gave Ellinor the stink eye, then turned to Chase, politely saying. "Mr. Larios, I'm so sorry my assistant has been a nuisance!"
Chase laughed it off, "No worries; I was headed for the loo myself, so it was no trouble."
Sheila forced out a couple of laughs, secretly annoyed that Ellinor had the chance to be alone with Mr. Larios.
Ellinor then innocently asked, "Sheila, why are you back so soon? Have you already gone through the new products?"
Sheila couldn’t be bothered to answer Ellinor’s question, thinking, ‘Why does my assistant have to be so nosy?’ She turned to Ida with a smile, "Ms. Gipson, I've seen all the products now; when can we ink the deal?"
Ida had regained her composure, "We need to finalize things with your agency. Artists can’t sign work contracts directly."
Sheila chuckled, "No problem; my agent can come for the signing this afternoon!"
Ida nodded, "Sounds good. Bring your agent over this afternoon."
"Great, thank you!" Sheila was delighted and couldn't resist probing, "What about my new movie...?"
Ida replied, "If the ad campaign with you goes well, I'll consider investing in your new movie."
"Thank you, Ms. Gipson. I won't let you down!" Sheila was quite confident. "I won't disturb you any longer now, Ms. Gipson. I'll come back with my agent this afternoon to sign."
