Chase let out a helpless sigh. "Simple. She climbed out of the office window and back in through the bathroom window."
Ida was shocked, "But we're on the 30th floor!"
Chase just shrugged. "Remember my climbing gear in the break room? Came in handy! Plus, you know how agile she is; this was a piece of cake for her!"
Ida took off her glasses and rubbed her forehead, "What about the person inside?"
"That's your secretary. She dressed up, put on the mask, and pretended to be busy."
"…Ellinor is always so quick-witted."
Chase squinted, deep in thought, "Why do you think she's so against Theo finding out she's Moon?"
Ida glanced at him, reminding him. "She must have her reasons; let's not jump to conclusions."
Chase stroked his chin, "I don't buy that Theo has no feelings for her. I'll test him out."
Ida protested, "What are you testing? Don't get Ellinor angry!"
"You just wait and see. I’ll bring you good news!" Chase waved and strode off towards the elevator.
...
Inside the slowly descending elevator.
"Had lunch yet?"
Theo's deep voice echoed in the enclosed space, making the atmosphere a bit tense.
Sheila blushed when she heard that, and she shyly replied. "Not yet! Have you, Mr. Blanchet?"
Theo's eyes were cold, it was hard to tell who he was talking to.
