"Theo, you know the score with our family. If you pull out your investment now, the Knotts family's business will go down the drain!"

Theo, standing on the open-air balcony of the suite, lit up a cigarette and looked at the nervous Haillie.

"The Blanchet Corporation isn't a charity. The problems in your family didn't just pop up overnight. The money the Blanchet Corporation has been investing in your family has been dwindling year after year. I've been turning a blind eye because we've been pals for years.
