"He's handsome and oozes confidence. Is he a specially invited guest of the school?"
Ellinor had just finished her speech when she felt all eyes on her. Curious, she turned around and was shocked to see Theo.
Theo? What was he doing here?
Theo's gaze swept over Ellinor before he walked up to the microphone, adjusted its height, and spoke in his deep, captivating voice, "Hi everyone, I'm a family member of Ellinor's. I'm here today to express our gratitude towards Creston University for their education and care of Ellinor. I'm pressed for time so won't be saying much. I plan on making a donation to Creston University in Ellinor's name, a new laboratory building, to show our appreciation."
Ellinor: " Theo, are you okay?"
The auditorium was abuzz with surprise and shock.
Everyone was shell-shocked by this unexpected good news.
"Wow! He's a man of few words, but he just donated a building!"
"Such a handsome guy donating a building, is he Ellinor’s dad?"
"He's here as a parent, so he must be Ellinor's brother. But they don't look alike at all!"
"He's too young to be her father, isn’t he?"
The principal of Creston University excitedly stepped onto the stage, "Students, let's thank Ellinor's generous family and give a big round of applause for Ellinor and her family!"
Applause broke out, filling the room.
Yvette looked upset. Her pride was completely shattered, and once again, her limelight was stolen by Ellinor! In contrast, the three pianos her father had just pledged to donate seemed so insignificant!
Wasn’t Ellinor an orphan with no one to care for her? Who was this handsome and generous man to her?
