CHAPTER 42: The Privacy
"HIS NAME IS Jackson Casters. He's a traveler and is currently residing at Halla. He's a wolf from a pack in South Africa," Nadia said as she slightly tilted her head at Jackson's direction.
Alpha Karius looked at him curiously. Just by only looking at him, he could tell that he's tall. He has curly hair and a pointed nose. His skin has a dark complexion and he really looked like a person who doesn't even know how to joke. Alpha Karius straightened his back while looking at him. He could feel that something is really odd with this man named Jackson in front of him.
"Jackson is also a blogger in his country and as of now, he's currently featuring different packs for his blog and he chose your pack this time, Alpha Karius," Nadia explained. "I've heard some things about his blog and I can say that he's good at what he's doing."
"Any identification?" Alpha Karius asked as he arched his brow a bit. He wanted to make sure if he's really a blogger like what Nadia is saying. He reminded himself to make Calyx have a background check on him. He couldn't risk it, especially his pack.
Jackson then moved and got something inside his pocket. He showed some IDs making Alpha Karius tilted his head a bit. One is his nationality card, the other is his pack card, and the other one is an old school card. He looked at him again and compared his face on the ID cards. The photo on the other ID is actually blurry, making him more suspicious. While the two IDs are still new, like it has been only released recently.
Well, even though Jackson already showed him his cards, he's still not fully convinced.
Jackson suddenly moved on his seat and smiled a bit. "I can assure you that I will only post positive things about your pack in my blog." He smiled a bit. "I am actually amazed by how you rule your own pack. In just a span of a year, you were able to change the system of your pack that has been followed by your ancestors, the barrier between the higher rank wolves and the lower rank wolves, right?"
Alpha Karius just simply nodded. How did she even know that? Well, he's not sure anymore.
"What do you want to happen then?" Alpha Karius asked. Of course, he's not that dumb thinking that he wanted something in his pack aside from his blog and stuff. He just knew that he had other business in his territory. Something is really strange about the aura of this man named Jackson. There's only one way for him to find out about it...
"Is it fine for you if... I'll stay here in your house for a couple of days until I'm done writing on my blog?" Jackson asked as he cleared his throat.
Alpha Karius smirked. What a thick-faced man. Just what he thought. He specifically chose his mansion to stay when he can even choose any houses out there. "Why do you think I'd let you stay here? I can just let you stay in my office. I also have guest rooms there..." He smirked. He has guards there that will look at him if ever he did something wrong. He can easily order them to punish this man if he ever does something unpleasant to him.
That made Jackson a bit stunned but he was able to smile after. "Okay. If that's what you want, Alpha Karius. I wouldn't mind staying at any place anyway. I could make some friends with your pack, too." Jackson smiled like he's not even bother. "Thank you for your kindness."
Alpha Karius nodded his head a bit. "Okay. I'll ask Calyx to assist you. And I only have one rule for you as you stay here in my pack."
"What is it, Alpha Karius?"
"No monkey business. If ever I found out that you're doing something behind my back, I'll personally kill you with my bare hands." He threatened him and smiled at him. "So... welcome to my pack, Jackson Casters. I hope you enjoy your stay here." He stood up and extended his hand for a handshake.
Jackson looked at his hand a bit. It took seconds before he also shook Alpha Karius' hand.
Alpha Karius smirked. Oh, he wouldn't mind killing any outsidyer in his pack if ever they do something wrong...

"YOU SAW IT too, right?" Penny asked Alpha Karius when she entered his library. He checks some documents first there before he goes back to his room where Lilian is sleeping.
He looked at Penny seriously. He's sure what she's pertaining to. It was Lilian and how she was able to kill the rogue expertly awhile ago and her big wolf. Penny still can't get over the fact that Lilian was able to do it when she knew that she's an Omega. She tried thinking what could possibly be the reason behind it but she couldn't find it in her head.
"Yeah," he answered. "Maybe because she's the daughter of a she-wolf alpha..." he replied as if it's not even a big deal. He already thinks about that possibility. But the other side of his brain is telling him that there could be other possible reasons for that. He already has a hunch but he still needs to make sure about it. He will know about it soon, he just needs more time to see for himself.
"A she-wolf alpha? How come?" Penny asked as her brows furrowed. She never really heard anything about it. She only knows before that Lilian is actually living alone, no parents and doesn't have that many friends. Other than that, she had known her as the kind hearted omega since she would sometimes save her co-omegas when they're doing their dirty and heavy works before. She knew her in a very short period of time but she could tell that she's one of the nicest people that she had met.
