Hearing the familiar voice sound loudly in her ear, Olivia inhales deeply, cursing under her breath as she turns to meet Adams's cold gaze.

"What do you think you're doing to a sick patient?"

"Sick?" Olivia scoffs unbelievably, she had not expected things to turn out this way

"Yes"

"What are you doing here anyway? Alexandra isn't your mate so why care?"

"I was just in the neighborhood"

"Then how did you know she wasn't feeling fine"

"I overheard your conversation earlier so why are you hurting her?"

"Me? I wasn't"

"I saw you, you were demanding that she make breakfast for you"

Olivia rolls her eyes, wondering what has suddenly come upon Adam while Alexandra smiles sinisterly, watching the scene as it unfolds.

"I wasn't and if I was, what's it to you? Alexandra isn't your mate"

"Olivia" Adams whispers

"What? Hasn't she told you about Nathaniel Starkov of Crimson pack"

"Olivia" He states "That's enough"

"Why? They would soon be getting married so you better know or don't tell she hasn't told you"

"I know everything. Everyone in the pack knows so, of course, I know as well"

"Then leave right away"

"No. Alexandra is one of our own and if she's not feeling tfine hen is our duty to take care of her"

Alexandra rolls her eyes hating how those two thought they would make a fool of her.

"Can the both of you please leave? I'm trying to sleep"

Olivia rolls her eyes, walks out, and slams the door, pissed off. She had not expected Adams to show up and what's worse, take Alexandra's side, that was humiliating and a blow to her face.

"I came as soon as I heard you were not feeling fine"

Alexandra forces a smile. "It seems so"

"Have you eaten breakfast?"

"No, I'm not hungry"

"I can make you something to eat"

"Forget it but you can help Olivia out, she is the one starving"

"I'm sick"
