Walking past the park, Alexandra plops down to a seat, a smile creeps on her face as she stares at the cherry blossoms falling from the tree. She stretches out her hand and a leaf falls into her hand, Alexandra holds it up.
"If only people can be genuine like you then maybe the city will be a better place"
She runs her hand through her hair and ties it up to a bum, breathing in, old memories jump into her mind.
Flashback
"Come on guys you have to believe me Adam is a good person"
"That's all you have been saying ever since you got here Alexandra" An elderly woman states
"Well majorly, that's why I came over. The Alpha ceremony is around the corner and I want you all to vote for Adams"
Bewildered, the relatives of Alexandra's mother stared at her.
"Do you realize what you are saying?" A middle-aged man asked
"Of course"
"You are giving up your position as the Alpha"
"I'll be absent during the ceremony and Adam has promised to make me his Luna so is fine"
"Alexandra giving up on being the Alpha is like giving up your birthright, do you know that?" A small man asks
"I know what am doing. Everything is for Adam, he will be a great leader and I will be his Luna so what's wrong with that"
"How sure are you that this Adam will keep to his words?"
"He loves me and I love him too"
"Love?" An old man scoffs "Loving someone doesn't have to involve asking that they be absent from the ceremony, if you love someone you won't ask them to give up their position"
"He's not asking me for anything alright. I'm doing it because I love him, I love Adam Hawthorn. What part of this don't you all understand?" Alexandra states, feeling her adrenaline rush up
She had taken a trip to the blood moon pack to plead with her mother's relatives to support and vote for Adams to become the Alpha and thought it will be easy to achieve since they were her people but what she didn't expect was for them to throw questions at her like a little girl.
"Are you going to help me or not?"
"Alexandra we are not saying that we cannot help you but we certainly hope you know what you are doing"
"I know what I'm doing"
"Stories like this don't always end well and at the end, what if he takes another as his Luna? There is no guarantee it will be you"
"How can you say that? Is like you are saying that he doesn't love me. Adam will never do that to me, he loves me sincerely from his heart and I love him as well. I've never loved another the way that I love him and I will never love another except Adam Hawthorn, please, believe me, he is a good person"
"Well since you are our sister's daughter and you came a long way, we cannot refuse to help you because it will mean that we are refusing to help our sister, your mother"
Alexandra smiles widely, she knew she would always count on them for support.
"Thank you very much. Adam will be so happy, this means a lot to him, it means a lot to me"
"Do you love this man?" A young woman asks
"Yes I do"
"Does he love you?"
"That I am 100 percent sure of. Adam loves me"
"Then I certainly hope that our decision makes you happy and helps your dreams come true"
"My dream is to be next to Adams as his Luna"
Another old lady stands up. "Just be careful, my child. Anyway, You've come a long way and we have to celebrate, let's eat and wine for our little one has joined us today"
Alexandra chuckles, it has been a while since anyone has called her that.
"I like the sound of a party"
"When are you leaving dear?"
"Tomorrow. I need to tell Adams the good news"
The old lady groans. "Anyway we are still partying tonight"
Flashback ends
Clenching their jaw, Alexandra stands up and continues walking down, a lot of things running through her mind. She wanted nothing more than to exert her revenge against Adam for hurting her, putting her body through a state of endless agony.
As she walks further into the lonely path, Alexandra glances around, a strange feeling engulfs her and she quickly pushes it aside, passing it off as the anger that builds up inside her waiting to be unleashed. Taking a right turn, Alexandra bumps into a group of mobs standing as though they had been waiting for her.
Observing them intently, the leader smirked and Alexandra realized they were asking for it and she wasn't going to back down either. She had to look for a way to vent her anger and now that she had found it, she was going to fight.
"Move" Alexandra whispers as she tries to walk past but the mob obstructs her smirking, the leader pokes her forehead.
"A pretty girl shouldn't be left to walk on a lonely path alone"
"I'm not in a good mood so I would suggest you let me pass while I'm still nice"
The men chuckle. "What are you going to do? Beat us" The leader states and attempts to touch her but Alexandra quickly twists his arm, breaking his bone and causing him to scream, she pushes him against his gang.
"What are you people waiting for? Get her"
"Today's certainly not my day" Alexandra exhales deeply, clenching her jaw hoping to see her fur shooting out and her wolf already taking over but couldn't, realizing she was going to fight in a wolfless state.
