Glued to the ground, Alexandra couldn't accept what was going on within her, she had found her true mate but Alexandra didn't want that. She never wanted any of this, not now, not ever, for when Alexandra returned, she gave up on ever having a mate. Every day in her life has been like every other and all Alexandra wanted to do was live that day fulfilling one quest In her mind, Revenge. The taste of revenge against all those who had hurt her, every single one of them was going to feel her wrath for she had no plans to spare any.
Tightening her fist, Alexandra tries to take a step but her mate howls loudly pulling her towards the oak-furrowed trees, drawing her closer, and driving her toward her mate. Alexandra strives to ignore it but couldn't for the wolf was stronger, it's all it has craved ever since it returned to her body, staying silent all this while hoping for the day it will hear her mate howling for it.
Alexandra makes her path through the uneven ground, glancing at the trees brushing against each other, her heart begins to race as she feels her mate drawing closer, tiny goosebumps appear on her skin as the butterfly crawled up her stomach, her wolf howling loudly causing Alexandra to roll her eyes, wishing she could get rid of its instinct then she wouldn't hesitate to shut it up.
As her feet drew closer to the river, Alexandra couldn't help but wonder why it had to happen, she had moved on, giving up on ever having a mate if it wasn't Adams. She loved him so dearly and yet he jabbed his hand Into her chest and brutally ripped her heart apart leaving no room for her to assume that another would be her mate so she lived not preparing to have another until her eyes fell on Nathaniel Starkov's grey eyes staring into her eyes.
Alexandra halts, swallowing the saliva forming in her throat as Nathaniel's intense gaze burns through her skin. Alexandra glances around hoping to elude him; she had never expected Alpha Nathaniel Starkov to be her mate since Alexandra has heard vicious stories about him and his pack.
Overwhelmed by emotions, Alexandra takes a step back closing her eyes hoping for it to be one of those bad dreams you wake up to but clicking her eyes open, Alexandra continues staring back at Nathaniel who was gawking at her intently, she didn't know he was mate. In her past life, she was certain she never met him.
Although she heard the ugly rumors about him, Alexandra had no contact with him. The whispers, the stories flying around her pack about the ruthless Alpha Nathaniel Starkov were all she heard and that alone creeped her out. While some had called him vicious and ruthless, others had thought of him as an inhumane Alpha due to his brutal nature but Nathaniel didn't care about the rumors, he wasn't the type who loves gossip not listening to one, all he cared about was his pack.
Nathaniel observes Alexandra, he couldn't help but move nearer to her, and his wolf howls, yearning for his mate.
Nathaniel gazes into her eyes and she gazes back, too scared to look away.
"What's your name?" His deep baritone voice asks
"A…Alexandra"
"What's your full name?"
"Alexandra Gue… Guerrero"
"I saw you at the ceremony"
Alexandra blinks her eyes, she hadn't seen him and didn't care to notice anyone.
"What's the name of your pack?"
"I…Is… Is Gue… The name of my pack is Guerrero pack"
"Ah Guerrero wolves"
Alexandra swallows the lump in her throat, uncertain of the right words to form.
"I'm Nathaniel Starkov from Crimson clan"
