The sunny midday calls to Adam like the guilt of pleasure, sitting on the terrace staring at the trees brushing against each other in an almost menacing manner. He opens the magazine, flips through the pages for a moment, and closes it, bored. He stands up, and with the choices in front of him, he slowly and cautiously caused his legs to move into the house, one by one through the dark oak wooden door and into the living room, his feet shuffle against the ground as he advances towards the entrance door, flinging it wide opens jumps as he bumps into Alexandra standing by the doorstep, a sad smile plastered on her face.
"Alexandra" He states
"Hi"
"Hey, what are you doing here? I mean how are you doing?"
"I…I…I'm sorry if I startled you"
"Is alright" Adams sighs. "Are you alright?"
Adam gazes at her, without a doubt that she was not alright. Even though a part of him was happy to see her standing outside his house, curiosity still eats him up within his heart since Alexandra wasn't the type to barge into his house without an invitation and the look on her face alone confirmed his suspicion.
"Can we talk?"
"Yea, come in"
Alexandra shakes her head, disapprovingly. "No not here, can we talk somewhere else" she whispers, hating to be in an enclosed space with him.
"Of course but won't it be better to talk in my place where we won't be bothered"
"I know but…but" Tears crawls up Alexandra's eyes as she feigns to be hurt. "There is nothing wrong… I…" she sobs
"Hey, what's wrong? Is alright, talk to me, Alexandra"
"I just feel suffocated, can we go somewhere else?"
Adams nods his head affirmatively, staring intently at him trying to figure out something he isn't sure about. Looking into her eyes, he could see the pain with a mix of something he isn't sure about but he knew Alexandra wasn't the type to run to his side at least not anymore for she wasn't the same woman he once knew. She was different and even him has noticed that but still, Adam couldn't help but be concerned, he wanted to get to the root of her problem and assure her he would be there for her, that way, it would be easier to make her give up her position and let him lead the Guerrero pack, succeeding her Father.
"Let's go anywhere you want"
"Take me anywhere Adams, please" she stated, holding the urge to roll her eyes.
Listening to herself, she sounded so true and sincere but in actuality was only faking it, while waiting for the right time to put her plans in order so she could humiliate Olivia and Adams, once she lures them into her trap.
"There is a restaurant across the street, that is nice and quiet, we can talk there"
