The Rebirth of the Betrayed Alpha novel Chapter 93

Gazing into Veronica's eyes, she gazes back at her, reluctant to embrace the fact that the girl she once tried to ruin was the Alpha. Hating to have to bow down to her, Veronica swallows the lump in her throat, her adrenaline rushes up and she turns around walking away Alexandra trails behind, her head high as she sways her slender yet curvy hips from side to side, enters into the living room and then the dining room.

"Here comes the Alpha" Bernard mocks.

After watching Alexandra win, he couldn't get over it and accept the fact that she really won and so he stayed away from home for some days, reluctant to accept the fact that she defeated Adam and won.

"If you are so happy, why not fall and make an obeisance" Alexandra smirks locking eyes with Olivia who just walked in. Veronica and Bernard gawk at her bewildered. She hasn't been Alpha for 400 hours and yet she has already started displaying her true colors.

"What?" Bernard stands up

"Fall and pay an obeisance to me then I will know you are trying to congratulate me"

"Are you out of your mind?"

"Then don't try and mock me because it makes you look pathetic more than you already are"

"Alexandra!" Veronica glares, she may be the Alpha but she would never let her win nor talk about her husband behind her back.

"Shut your mouth" Alexandra states firmly causing Olivia to gasp, surprised.

"What?"

"When two Alphas are talking, a common Luna should know her place"

"You are crossing the line Alexandra" Bernard seethes

"What are you going to do?" She glances at him for a moment, drops her gaze looks at Olivia. "Will you hit me?" Dropping her gaze fixates her eyes on Veronica. "What will you do to me?"

"What can you do to be?"

"You haven't been an Alpha for long yet you already showing your arrogance. You think I got this position by being arrogant"

"Shut your trap, you never merited it, or would you rather we go back time to find out"

"And you think you merited it"

"I got here by beating your precious Adams Hawthorn" she chuckles causing Bernard to be pained.

Remembering the words he said to her right before the fight began. Bernard laughs, not expecting his words to come back to bite him in the butt.

"What was that word you said to me that day?" she pretends to be in thought for a moment "Give it up and back down from participating in the ceremony, don't you dare come and humiliate me" she smiles as the words come flying into her mind.

"Who exactly humiliated you?"

"Shut your mouth"

"Why father? Are you embarrassed? Are you pained that you put your faith in Adam Hawthorn and he failed you? Did he humiliate you?"

"Shut your mouth I said" He screams

"Can you make me?" She dares to cause Bernard to laugh frustrated. He had it in his palms and everything was going until Alexandra decided to be part of the ceremony. Looking back he wished he had done something to make sure he kept her from entering the ring but somewhere he was aware it was an impossible plan since Nathaniel was around.

"Can you make it? I'm the Alpha now"
