The Soldier's Unsurpassable Honor novel Chapter 3751

Fane nonchalantly said, "Don't talk as if you can do whatever you want here. Would you dare rip anyone's mouth off? If you can, do it right now. I'm right here! Let's see if you have the guts."

Nymm's face reddened at those words. Of course, he would not dare do such a thing. He was no idiot and did not have the skills of the ancient hero, so he could not possibly dare act recklessly here. He would immediately be turned to ash if he did.

Nymm's lips twitched as he cursed at himself for being impulsive enough to say something like that. He was supposed to be the most rational of their group, but Fane got to his nerves so badly that he lost his composure.

He took a deep breath. This time, he decided to never allow Fane to be so pleased with himself. No matter what he had to do, he would make sure he trampled his pride.

"Stop bringing that up. Do you think I won't dare to do anything to you just because I can't do anything here? I'm just telling you to not slander anyone with that mouth of yours. You say we tried to pull a scheme, huh? Tell me, then—what were we doing?"

After he said that, Nymm turned to look at all the warriors in the spectator stands, raising his voice to say, "Everyone had a good view of everything, and we couldn't have pulled anything even if we wanted to. Even if you're trying to slander us, can't you think things through? Everyone had a good view of the entire battle, and nothing suspicious happened. Everyone saw Percy kill the beast, so what's there to talk about?"

A few among the audience nodded at that. Even though they hated Nymm's arrogance, they had to admit that he made sense. There was no way for there to be any tricks during the battle earlier. Everyone thought about it and felt like all the participants had done everything they could, that Percy had gone all out as well. Nothing out of the ordinary happened.

Regardless, all of them wanted to hear what sort of explanation Fane had as well.

Fane's lips curled up as he looked at Nymm, who frantically tried to prove their innocence. "You sure know how to make things sound nice. Let me ask you, then: Why did Percy hold back just now?"

When he said that, some people were stunned. Did Percy hold back at all?

Rowan scoffed and said, "What a load of crap! Everyone saw how Percy put his all into it just now. If he held back at all, they wouldn't have been able to win the battle! You should think before throwing blind accusations out there!"

Fane laughed at Rowan's challenge. He continued to speak calmly, "He clearly held back when he heavily injured the purple feathered beast with that one blow. Everyone didn't see it, but if he had been using his full might, he should've used his world avatar while he used his technique. Only then would he have been using his strongest attack, but he didn't do that at all!"

Fane's words were like a shout that woke everyone up.

He had a point. If they looked at it that way, Percy definitely held back. If Percy had been using his full might, he should have used his world avatar with his strongest attack!

However, he left his world avatar for the end.

Everyone had been too excited to notice that, but Fane maintained his calm the whole time and was an impartial spectator, observing everything. It allowed him to catch on to Percy's little tricks very quickly.
